Looking up, I saw Erix's wolf tear the monster that had thrown me to pieces easily before racing toward me. My eyes widened when one of Karissa's monsters possessing the head of a bull and the body of a gorillaen towered over me with a ugly terrifying snarl on it's face. The warrior beneath me was still stunned, probably from hitting his head hard on the ground. I tried to stand but fell back again, feeling dizzy. Suddenly, a familiar white wolf slammed into the monster, sending it away from me. Erix got to me and nudged me gently with his nose. I was finally able to stand and was slightly leaning against him when Alix appeared again but in his human form this time.
