I was nestled in a chair between Orion and Iris. The room matched the rest of the house. It looked like it was pristinely taken care of with nothing that was out of place. There was nothing that said this room was used regularly. It didn't feel like a packhouse dining room, but more like a showroom in a fancy furniture shop.

A couple of leather chairs were positioned near the desk, and a small bar cart sat in the corner, stocked with various bottles of liquor. I shifted in my chair, testing the strength of the ropes. They were tight, no way I could wiggle out of them. I sighed and looked around again. It was definitely a step up from the last place, where the walls had been peeling, and the floor had been covered in dirt and grime. This room, though... it almost felt like a study in a fancy house. "Wonder if they got a decorator in for this."
