She shrieked and ran inside the black house; Jason wriggled out of his father's arms and followed suit, running after her.
I shook my head as I looked at them. Beside me, Richard came closer and held me by the waist. "They are a handful, right?"
I nodded; yes, they were a handful, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I look longingly at Richard, grateful for my family, the people around me, and the pack.
This was my home; this was my pack, and I wouldn't have wanted any other.
