The screen transitioned instantly. “What?” I blurted. My body stiffened. The screen was empty. Completely empty. No history. No background. Nothing. That was strange. That was impossible. There was no one on Wikipedia who didn’t have a background. Especially not someone rising this fast. “Why is it blank?” I said to myself, my voice lower now. My eyes narrowed at the screen. “This looked fishy,” I added. And in that moment, the doubt that had been small before began to grow into something much harder to ignore.

Literally I'm in disguise. I looked around my surroundings taking a look at everybody. Some students were on the field playing ball,some talking and laughing,there were so many people divided in different groups. I belonging to none. If this students find out my real identity there will all flock around me like a sheep without a shepard asking for an autograph. I continued looking around until my deep blue eyes which were covered by thick glasses saw the love of my life Noah.

Holding my breath, I squeeze the trigger and everything goes blank. Blank for ME!

My reasoning is because I was focusing on finishing off high school, had to deal with graduation and family matters, and most of all I was unmotivated and I have been. Yes, I know it sounds like an excuse but I'd rather write Blinded when I'm motivated rather than write crappy chapters that I don't enjoy writing. So for the month of June, I'm going to take a break from writing, find some sort of motivation, and overall figure out what direction I want Blinded to go. So for right now, it is a goodbye unit next month. Sorry for the delay. -L.N.F

"Who told you to display a fake score report?" The technician shook his head frantically. "This is the live result pulled directly from the official system!" Lydia refused to believe him and checked on her own phone. Her face became paler by the second. "How could this be?" My father seemed to remember something. He pointed at me and roared, "What exactly did you do in the testing center?" I told him the truth. "I turned in a blank exam. So what?" Daphne stared at me in disbelief, panic plain on her face. "How could you turn in a blank exam?"

Ruby tried explaining-but with the way things were, nick looked totally confused. "Ok, boy. That's enough. However, I actually came here to warn you. You have three supernatural powers which you inherited from me. I am a very great grandma of yours. I'm in the seventeenth line of your family generation. I know you may not understand. But however, your powers are: one-the ability to see ghosts. Two- you have a special word which you can say anytime to get out of trouble but you will later get to know the word as you grow. And three- I wouldn't tell you now. You might disclose it to other people. And like I said, you will get to know it as you grow."

Just emptiness. I opened my eyes slowly, a frown on my lips as realization dawned. “That’s the first thing I remember,” I said quietly. “The day she left me with Mike.” “There’s nothing before that,” I continued, my voice lower. “Not even pieces. It’s just blank.” A strange discomfort stirred in my chest. That wasn’t normal. Even as the thought formed, I knew it. There should have been something. A face or a place or a moment. Even if it was unclear, there should have been something. But there wasn’t.
