It Was Me By Michael Combs Novels & Stories

Sally and I headed towards the sushi shop just down from work and from the bar where Blake worked. "Ana! Ana!" I heard, I turned around swiftly because I didn't recognise the voice, I look back at Sally "oh my shit, it's Blake" Sally walks way laughing with her arms waving in the air and as she does my heart drops in to my stomach. "Oh, hi Blake" I sheepishly say. Blake tells me how Phil the almighty match-maker text him and told him I was looking for a slice of heaven, and asked him if he could provide it? I laughed so loud I snorted and died a little on the inside from embarrassment.

I said as she chuckled "Here, " she said as she offered her hand to help me up from the ground. We went home and found everyone already spotted and eating. As we entered, they all turned their attention to us. This was where I knew I had f**ked up, "Where are you coming from looking like that, and what happened to you?" Scott asked "I fell, " I quickly answered as Glitz chuckled "Fell huh, " Olivia said smiling "Where are you both coming from?" Carter asked

Basketball practice was at 7:00 this morning and I was very appreciative that I would not get to see him after that embarrassing moment. My phone rang suddenly and I stood up to look at the phone screen. I smiled inwardly when I saw my best friend's name on the screen. Chinaza Obi was the best person that I had ever met. She knew everything about me- including my sexuality and she was the main reason why I accepted Gavin's request to make me his boyfriend. She rooted for him so I accepted. How would she feel if she found that he was a prick? "Hey baby," She croaked and I sat up suddenly, already feeling worried at her voice.

I was hoping he would get tired of me nagging and would give in. “I want to drive your car!” He mimicked in a high-pitched voice, and I gave him a blank stare. “I don’t sound like that.” I frowned, then sighed in defeat. Michael just grinned and switched the music on. “This is my favorite song!” Michael yelled and cranked up the volume. I looked at him in shock as he started singing to BlackPink. How was this man, a member of a Mafia, singing at the top of his lungs to freaking BlackPink? When he noticed my surprise, he dimmed the volume.

Not so much on his chest, just enough to make him look primal and rugged. For several moments all she could do was stare, her heart beat a strange rhythm beneath her bikini, until she realized what she was doing and pulled herself under control. He must have arrived somewhere between Michael Jackson and Abba, since she knew the chair was vacant when she turned over to her stomach, after Taylor Swift and before Donna Summer fifteen minutes ago.

I send them one last glare before storming out of my apartment. Right in front of my apartment is a white Porsche- Macan compact SUV to be precise. What¿ I know my cars well Also, mom bought me this exact model once..I flat out refused it and continued riding with Beth. I breathe in some fresh air and make my way into the car. "Hello" I say formally with a polite smile plastered on my face. "Hey, beautiful" he smiles like an idiot "I'm David Cumberlake, son of Caleb Cumberlake, heir to the Cumberlake empire"

Hey Emma, I know you must be wondering who the heck this is. Well, I got your email from the One Voice Support group, and I just had to talk to you. Our situations are so much alike, and honestly, reading your comment made me think that some random person had read my mind.

Juna smiled at Aiys, Aiys quickly returned the smile. "The second... thump.. thump.. thump.." smile. The hall began to make noise, which began to guess. "Is..." he continued. Instantly the hall was silent, "Alisya Cantara," Aiys was shocked, suddenly he was hugged by Keysa. The hall cheers.

It was too beautiful to be concealed. “Maybe one day,” I murmured to myself, “I’ll be able to show myself to the world without hiding any part of me.” Just then, my phone dinged from the table. I glanced at it, raising a brow when I saw the notification. The first thing that appeared on the screen was a sticker of an old man smiling and doing a heart sign. I didn’t even have to check the name, I already knew it was Adam. I shook my head, smiling despite myself.
