Jimmy's chest rapidly rises and falls as tears stream down his face. His eyes dart around as he tries to back away. He begins to hear voices spewing hateful words, voices that are not actually there this time, and only in his head. He sees Asher's mouth move, but he hears his father's voice. "I won't let you hurt him father, stay the fuck back! You're not going to do it again! I won't let you kill another one of my mates!" Jimmy choked out, his body trembling as his fears consumed him.

Miyen kept his eyes on Jim, clenched fists against his thighs, chin up. “What the fuck’re you doing here, you son of a bitch?” he asked. Jim wiped the blood with the back of his hand and flashed a little smirk, bearing the pain. “Y’know, LA was so fucking boring, I thought it’d be fun coming to the other fucking end of the world to have my nose broken.”
