The moment she had stepped in she had felt threatened by ivy unusually beautiful face the fact that she wasn't putting on any layer of makeup and was dressed in a simple white dress didn't hinder her beauty at all in fact she looked so unreal like a fairy.

Asher’s POV The moment I stepped through the front door, the weight on my shoulders didn’t disappear, but for the first time in what felt like forever, I could breathe. The fight was over. The mafia was done. And I was finally home. I didn’t stop to take off my coat or set down my bag. I moved through the house with one thought in my mind, Ivy. She was in the living room, curled up on the couch with a book resting on her lap. Her hair was pulled into a loose bun, strands falling around her face. She looked tired, lost in thought, her fingers absentmindedly tracing the edges of the pages.

“Asher..” Her voice sounded like honey to his ears. Asher walked over to her, he dropped the bag in his hand as he stride towards her. He pinned her down to the table close to the stand in the room. “Don't make me lose control here Ivana,” he whispered in her ears, inhaling her scent. A cold shiver passed through Ivana's body by the touch of his hand on her waist. Ivana placed her hands on his chest trying to push him away. “Asher stop this…” she stuttered.
