He smiled, “Will do, love. You take your nap. I’ll be right here with you.” I kicked off my shoes and sighed as I was able to lay down and let the stress of the day just roll off of me in waves. It felt so good, I was out cold in seconds. It seemed like I had just gotten to sleep when my mate was waking me, “Izzy, the elders are an hour away. You need to get ready.” I sat up and asked, “How long was I asleep?” He chuckled, “Two hours.” I gasped, “It felt like I had just laid down!”

With Izzy not here to act as a buffer, I excuse myself and go for a wander. Izzy ran inside excited about something, and I’m curious what that something might be. It was nearly midnight at the World Beyond, and they were waiting for the moon. They waited by the window because it had a clear view of the sky.
