I get up and go downstairs to my office. If she wakes she will call for me. Izzy’s POV I wake up to arguing in my head what the hell. I was having a good dream about Nick and the pool, with no clothes on. I growl at the voices in my head and they all instantly stop talking. Then I realized that there was more than one voice.

“That’s why you two will take care of her. Keep her hidden. Don’t let her out of the packhouse.” Liz and Aria exchanged a glance before nodding. “Get some sleep, Kara,” Aria murmured. “You’ll need your strength for whatever happens next.” But as I lay in bed, my mind refused to rest. With Izzy not here to act as a buffer, I excuse myself and go for a wander. Izzy ran inside excited about something, and I’m curious what that something might be. She told me that marked animais can see into each other’s eyes, but I’m not quite sure how to do that, and I can tell how much she wants to surprise me, so I’ll let her.
