Good Girl in Action

Good Girl in Action

I shook my head in disbelief. At night, we set a bonfire, and the pirates caught some crabs and fishes. The flame flickered through thin air as the wind softly embraced us. “Wagner, why don’t you try this?” A pirate handed grilled meat to Kylo. She chewed it and closed her eyes. “Not bad. It suits my flavor. What is this?” “It’s a lizard.” Kylo choked and pounded her chest. She stood up and vomited. We watched her with laughter.

Alright. I have to say this. That twist got me. I thought the mirror reflection scene was just a plain old-used scenario, but I was surprised (in a good way) that Vad became a totally different person (gender). I find the POV funny. This book is well written and has an interesting opening chapter.

What should I say about this story? It's just awesome. It got a good plot and appears promising. Author has done an awesome job in depicting the emotions portrayed by the characters n fantasy world build up. I usually don't read fantasy genre, but this one caught my eyes. Kudos to the author .........

The Empress and the Alpha

The Empress and the Alpha

Hunter stated. “All of these are going to end in death, darling.” I reminded him. “Ooh, I get to go next!” Zeke said in excitement. “The loudest pirate was Morton ‘Devil’s Charm’ Tyde he lived dangerously and was always ready to die. He loved causing trouble and starting fights; he'd spook the crew when they’d turn off the lights. He laughed much too loud and always made jokes. He was never quiet whenever he spoke. He welcomed death daily and just didn’t care, until his head was chopped off and flew through the air. Now he hold head in his hands and makes himself laugh, while his body tap dances on his head’s behalf.”

I'm only halfway through and you know I adore your other stories. I'll be honest I'm not a fan of the werewolf genre...but OMG this is amazing? It's so different from any other werewolf novel I've read! It's funny and high fantasy I worship Zelda! Hunter is wild I just love all of this!! Brilliant!

I thought Zelda would only be the funny one. I didn't expect it would be the same with Hunter. The way he was rejected and said that he would tell it to his parents was just hilarious lol. The humor of this book is not something to be missed. This book is a must-read for great entertainment. Awesome

Godfather World

Godfather World

“I thought you were on the opposite end of this island.” Damian greeted the Seer cordially and deadpanned. Wasn’t it obvious? “I swam.” Zen couldn’t believe it. Was swimming faster than running or walking? Then again, the virtual world tried to match a participant’s skills and abilities. Damian was a cyborg. It was probably faster for him to swim than run through the jungle. “According to the pieces of map parts I assembled, we’re standing on Pirate’s Bay. There should be treasure somewhere here, but I don’t have all the map pieces to reveal its location yet,” Zen explained to Damian and shared his map pieces.

A Bride for Elizalde, Highest Bidder

A Bride for Elizalde, Highest Bidder

Her eyes fixed on my pizza, and she didn't know I made it myself. "How sweet of you, my son. Don't you know that Lizzie was craving pizza earlier but chose not to buy any because she didn't want to spoil the dinner?" Zia Melina to me. "I know, Zia. Thank you for helping her," I genuinely said, "Let's eat." The pizza was the first one that Lizzie took, and I just put another dish on her plate. Next, Zia Melina put spicy crab on my plate, and I thanked her. She then adds a few spoonfuls of paella, her specialty.

Mafia's Slave Pet

Mafia's Slave Pet

Damian’s cold and stern gaze fell on Zach looking like he would freeze him to death with his eyes. Zach chuckled, “it’s just that she looks so innocent. I’m afraid I would break her but that makes it more exciting. I can’t wait to have a taste..” Damian clenched his hands but his face remained emotionless. He fought the urge to pummel Zach’s face and throw him into the ocean to be shark’s food. The other mafia seated around the table laughed boisterously at Zach’s remark. “I envy you, man. Such a pure girl is hardly seen. When you’re done, be sure to share her with me. I want to have a taste too.”

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

It was dark and dank in the cave, most of its surfaces were moist and wet. “Hmm?” After moving forward for about five minutes, something caught Zephyr’s attention, it raised his alarm. He quickly summoned Lightfoot and sprinted off without a second thought. A loud hiss rang out behind him, Zephyr turned to look and saw his would-be aggressor. Where Zephyr once stood, a large creature now took his place, it’s false face chittered nonstop. “A Pearl Spider!” Zephyr frowned at the sight before him. Pearl Spiders were dangerous creatures with ghostly white bodies, and lifeless black eyes. It hissed at Zephyr, which revealed prominent fangs as it’s saliva dripped onto the ground.

Enjoying the book tremendously, the characters names and even the tone of the author changed in the last 1/3 of the book was a bit confusing but was able to adjust to the changes the plot is definitely engaging and keeps you pushing to see how it all plays out for Zepher but it seem to abruptly?

Pirate Princess: Mated To The Merman CEO

Pirate Princess: Mated To The Merman CEO

I stammer as Roger turns me around to face the curious crowd. Roger laughs. "Tonight is a great day, for we pirates have finally found our new leader and princess—Natasha, the beastmaster! If you want to feel safe and not turn into Scarlett's pawns, then Natasha is the one you should follow! She controls the merman of the north!" "Beastmaster?" I'm blushing, squirming in the ray of attention. Everyone is looking at me like I'm their newly proclaimed queen. "I wouldn't call me that..."

White Wolf

White Wolf

Had it not been for the declaration of war befra's group would have thought they had come to make friends. The leader wolf of the group of assassins looked straight into Ezra's eyes. “What do you guys want to do?” Windy did not hesitate but directly asked the question she wanted to know. Windy's response to that question was a loud laugh from the enemy. Their leader still looked at Ezra sternly; he didn't laugh at Windy or react. "Didn't expect that the one who was called the great warrior of the tribe had such a stupid subordinate?" "Who do you say is the fool?"

Frequently Asked Questions

Izzy the pirate is one of those characters who sneaks up on you with layers you never expected. At first glance in 'Our Flag Means Death,' he comes off as this gruff, no-nonsense first mate to Blackbeard, all sharp edges and loyalty. But dig deeper, and there's this heartbreaking tension between duty and personal desire. His backstory isn't spoon-fed, but the hints are everywhere—like how he clings to Blackbeard's mythos, maybe because he's built his entire identity around serving someone else. The way he reacts to Stede Bonnet's influence suggests a fear of being replaced or forgotten, which makes me wonder if he's been discarded before. There's this one scene where he nearly tears up over Blackbeard's changed behavior, and it hit me: Izzy's not just a tough guy; he's a man terrified of losing the only family he's ever known. The show plays with pirate tropes but gives him such human fragility beneath the leather and snarls.

What really gets me is how his backstory feels like a slow burn. We see flashes of his past through his skills—how he fights, how he navigates pirate politics—but also through his vulnerabilities. That time he sings alone in his cabin? Pure gold. It’s these little moments that suggest a life before Blackbeard, maybe even a softer one. The fandom’s run wild with theories, from former navy turned outlaw to a runaway aristocrat, but the beauty is in the ambiguity. Izzy’s the kind of character who makes you read between the lines, and that’s why he sticks with me long after the credits roll.
