I thought I was still in my dreams. “…Jace?” I murmured. “Yeah,” he held my hands. “How are you feeling?” “I…I don’t get it…Why are you here?” Jace was my childhood playmate. He lived next door to me in a scratchy neighborhood. I always thought that his family was poor as mine. Until one day, he moved away out of the blue and that was when I leant that he was High Gale Pack’s Alpha’s bastard son.

"Is that why you've been so elusive lately? Trying to find the perfect match?" Liam nodded, his gaze finally meeting mine. Mollis says finally reaching her big headspace. "I told you that you are my strong kitten and you proved me right," Jace says with a proud smile on his face this time.
