Maeve jabbed me in the side as we walked out of the change rooms. I had been paired with Jake in today’s exercise, who started the session off with an optimistic smile which was swiftly replaced by a permanent wince as he became well acquainted with the floor. I had felt Julius watching as he circled the group, his presence impossible to miss no matter where he was in the room, yet our eyes never met as I remained focused on the task at hand. “Really? I didn’t notice.” I shrugged, trying my best to downplay how much I most certainly did notice.

There was a big crowd at Bwell Therapeutics. A few aggressive men stood inside, their leader looking tanned, burly, and strong. “Dr. Ewell, I’ve come for you sincerely. Why can’t you be grateful?” The muscular man trained a glowering gaze at Zachary. Zachary’s expression was austere. “I’ve said that I can’t help with Ms. Walton’s condition. Why would you still put me in a tough spot?” The muscular man, Acson Keye, was a subordinate of the Waltons. He had come to Bwell Therapeutics today to get Zachary to treat the heiress of the Waltons, Yulene Walton.

Jacob’s POV The girl’s name is Calista Caitlynn, a nineteen year old omega. She speaks to me with enough wisdom and intelligence that not all women have, by her looks and her figure I even thought I could marry my son to her instead, only that she lacks the name for it. I could still picture how she gasped for air the moment I touched her, it felt like she wanted me to do more of that. She’s perfect as a whore, to be honest, but she’s even more perfect to serve.

He added, “Jenson, the director of our Intelligence Bureau admires you very much and wants to invite you to join us.” Jenson replied, “I’m not interested.” Walt was somewhat unbudged and said with perseverance, “Jenson, I hope you will seriously consider our decision.” Zayne stopped Walt and said, “Our Jenson has a trillion-dollar company to inherit. Why would he be interested in working in a small intelligence bureau? Come now, save your breath.” Walt was startled and realized that they simply could not afford to hire this genius. “How disrespectful of me. I’ll be heading out now.”

Almost like he didn't want to share whatever news he'd planned out. I turned to face him, taking in his features. The spot around his eyes crinkled with stress, wrinkles lined his forehead dimming his features. King Walton's face screamed whatever emotion he was going through. So,I could instantly tell something was amiss. It was even worse, as the silence in the room deepened, causing a hole in the atmosphere. King Walton cleared his throat, and started. “After much deliberation, the entire pack elders and the office of the present Lycan King of Oakville pack…” he sighed, “We have decided to keep the spot open between Rylan Walton, and Zain Walton.”

'There was a sudden deem lights, Phelan remembers someone, who was Don Carlton telling her to go lay down and rest. She tried to refuse, but he was too strong, and she was unable to stop him. It was so sudden that Don stood, watching Phelan in a distant approached her in a smile that shed some lights in the deem lights that came from the window. A meter from Phelan, Don put his hands on her shoulders, and then made an excuse and left.

I bit my lower lip to hide my nervousness but I think that made me look more suspicious if anything. Unlike his father, Alpha Julian was a bit nice… well nicer sometimes. He always kept himself grounded. I could only hope that he’d understand us if he did sensed anything between Dalton and I. But will he really let us be on our own if he’d been so brainwashed by the Moon Howlers? If he listened to everything Levi tells him to do then…? “Cassandra…?” Dalton’s voice made me glance up to find him waiting for me.

Ray Ford feel more embarrassed? Walter was old and never married. After hearing Weldon’s insightful explanation, he nodded in agreement. “Weldon, you’re right,” he said. “Of course I am! This is precious advice coming from someone as experienced as me. You should learn more from me.” Weldon felt very proud of himself. Unfortunately, Shantal didn’t stay in the lobby as Walter and Weldon had hoped. She went right after they left, she headed to the entrance and hailed a taxi.

Ignoring him I informed Cato and Mike to get the car ready that I'll be visiting the Waltons. Stepping out of the elevator and heading towards the meeting room, I could only see her two brothers her father was not here but an unfamiliar face was seated in the room. "You must Niccolò Ruffalo" he reached out to grab my hand, hover I just glance at his hand and his face "I'm Arielle's eldest brother, Jake Walton" that's when I grabbed his hand and shook it firmly. "it's finally nice to meet you Jake" I greeted him, Ari has told me a lot about her elder brother.

Hao Jianbin stood up and shouted loudly. "Damn it!" One of the blond-haired men, Mr. Jelly, immediately kicked Hao Jianbin, pointed at his nose, and scolded him, "So what if you're from the capital? How dare you yell at Mr. Walson with such a small amount of money! Let me tell you, Mr. Walson is a local whose family has assets worth over a billion! He owns a resort and is far richer than your family! Not to mention Mr. Walson, even Mr. Zack here and I alone have family assets worth over a billion! What right do you have to insult Mr. Quinn? Before insulting Mr. Quinn, you should be better than us first!"
