The veil

The veil

Angie Pichardostrangers chapter 2
Daniel asked without taking his amused look off Sam. “It will be another time, my girlfriend is indisposed and we have to go back,” Arthur answered half uncomfortably. He didn't like that man, just as he didn't like the fact that he was a friend of the Deltons and Jones, it was obvious that he was part of their shady business. “By the way, you didn't answer my question,” Daniel attacked. “It's a private question, Mr. White. You alone have had the decency to ask about my bride's veil, it is a custom in her country," he lied to get out of the way.

Alpha Daryl

Alpha Daryl

, I had no idea that was why he was bringing me here but I had nothing, literally nothing except what I was wearing when I ran away. Maddox snorts and rubs his greying beard, “You will need to replace her” “We do not have slaves, we have moved on with the world and so should you” Daryl offers a hand to me so I could get down off the bike, once again the electricity from his touch sending a shock through me. I knew he felt it too as he winks at me Daryl stepped towards Maddox “Show me her room”, Daryl was much bigger than Maddox, it was the first time seeing Maddox look smaller than other Alphas.

I binged this story in a couple of days, still hooked! Yes there are some grammatical errors but the plot shines through.. still a few unanswered questions, hoping they’re addressed in the next chapters

Not All That Glitters

Not All That Glitters

An alert Dalton looked up from his bowl of honey nut Cheerios and scoffed with a full mouth. “You know you’re the only one who eats that crap, Holl. Wherever you left ‘em, they’re still there.” At thirty years of age, Dalton Bogard was every bit the responsible adult their parents raised him to be. Not only a top car dealership salesman, he also made time to grow his own produce and sell it to members at the gym he frequented as a way to make extra income. In contrast to Hollis’ light eyes and blonde features, Dalton inherited their father’s striking brick reddish brown eyes and a full head of thick black hair. If it weren’t for his job, he’d probably have let it grow out since it came in so

Revenge After Divorce: Ex-Husband Regret

Revenge After Divorce: Ex-Husband Regret

Dalton. He walked toward us with long, confident steps. His jaw was tight, his eyes locked straight on Ophelia. The hall grew quiet. People noticed him—of course, they did. He was Dalton Montclair, the richest man in the city, and his presence always demanded attention. But the way he was looking at her? It was pure fire. “I suggest you shut your mouth, Ophelia,” Dalton said coldly. “You’re embarrassing yourself.” Ophelia blinked, taken aback. "I—"

My Professor's Dirty Little Secret

My Professor's Dirty Little Secret

She’d spun pain into poetry and left it sitting in my chest like a seed that didn’t know whether to bloom or rot. My stomach churned. I hated that Vanessa’s words were still echoing in my head. Hated that, for even one second, I’d started to wonder if there was truth in them. Dalton had secrets. That much I knew. He kept things close, buried deep. But abusive? No. Not him. Not the man who looked at me like I was the only thing grounding him. Still… maybe there were things he hadn’t told me. Maybe Vanessa wasn’t lying completely, just twisting something true into something poisonous.

Omega Or King?

Omega Or King?

Dalton looks like he is pained, “It’s stupid, and I don’t want you to feel like I still have feeling for Crystal, because I don’t, it’s that I was kinda hoping, you know, to me it would feel better knowing.” “You ruined her for everyone else?” I finish his thought and try to keep from laughing. “I know it sounds horrible, but Zeus is my nieces father my former brother in law, to think of her loving him, just,” Dalton exhales. “Why isn’t she super jealous and trying to kill me to get to you?” I smirk. “Is that too much for a guy to ask,” Dalton laughs. “I would kill to keep you, is that enough?” I ask him. “Yes,” Dalton nods and we kiss. Our first kiss of the day.

Break My Curse: Heart of The Lycan King

Break My Curse: Heart of The Lycan King

I hesitated, then softly added, "And… help him too. He’s yours as well. He acts tough, but I know there’s more to him than that." The wind curled around me, like unseen fingers brushing against my skin. I opened my eyes. Dalton was at the car, the hood open, his sleeves rolled up. He worked with practiced ease, his movements fluid and efficient. The moonlight kissed the sharp angles of his face, the curve of his strong jaw, the precise way his hands moved. He was good at this. At everything.

Sweet Revenge, My Billionaire Alpha

Sweet Revenge, My Billionaire Alpha

"Honey, you have to do something about your daughter before she destroys Fely. I don't want anything to happen to my daughter." Dalton sighed. "You forgot, honey? She is no longer my daughter because I have thrown her away and even she herself has changed her name," Dalton said firmly. He kissed her hair and hugged her tightly. "Don't worry, I'll take care of it to the end. You take care of Fely and leave Lea's business to me." Dalton walks into his study and calls someone on the phone. "Yes, Mr. Dalton?" "I want you to kill someone for me," Dalton said matter-of-factly. "Make it as neat as possible, quickly, as if it were an accident and leave no traces."

Queen of Wolves

The collision exploded outward, shaking the ground and throwing dust and blood into the air around them. Dalton gritted his teeth. I could see it now clearly. This wasn’t a fight he could win by strength alone. Vaelthryx wasn’t just powerful. He was fundamentally wrong in existence. Dalton’s voice dropped low. “Aluna… stay behind me.” I shook my head immediately. “I’m not leaving you.” His eyes flicked to mine for a second. And something in him steadied. The mate bond flared between us like an anchor in collapsing water.

THE MATE HE COULDN'T CLAIM

THE MATE HE COULDN'T CLAIM

The omelet was perfect, the toast crisp, the tea fragrant. I couldn’t taste a single bite. I caught only one familiar face at the Alpha table. Caleb Vane. I remembered him from the Gathering. Dax’s second-in-command. Tall, wiry, with eyes like storm clouds and a scar that cut through his right brow. He watched me now, his expression unreadable. Not cold. Not warm. Just… curious. I dropped my gaze. I didn’t want curiosity. I wanted answers. Why had Daxon brought me here only to hesitate?
