Dalton chuckled in my ears and then answered, “I’m not opposed to the idea, but I wouldn’t let anyone see you naked, so no, we are not getting frisky here. "Don't worry, I'll take care of it to the end. You take care of Fely and leave Lea's business to me." Dalton walks into his study and calls someone on the phone. "Yes, Mr. Dalton?" "I want you to kill someone for me," Dalton said matter-of-factly. "Make it as neat as possible, quickly, as if it were an accident and leave no traces."

Dalton stepped inside. His gray hair looked more disheveled than usual, and he was still wearing his coat. The sight immediately made my stomach tighten. Dalton was a man who believed in preparation, routine, and measured reactions. If he was standing in my bedroom after midnight, something was wrong, very wrong. He closed the door behind him and cleared his throat. "Alex, we have a situation." A humorless smile pulled at my mouth. "Another one?" He didn't smile back. "It's bad."
