I pull away. "Not here." I can feel my face cool down. "Then, let's go back to the room." Jack whispers huskily. The offer is tempting, then my stomach growls. I'm hungry for two reasons. One, because my mate is sexy as ever. Two, because I haven't eaten in four hours. "Are you hungry?" Jack plays with my hair. I nod. "KFC?" I smile. After ordering, we eat in the car. We pass cute stores, filled with anything and everything. There is a store called, I'm So Booked! It was a calendar and a book store. I laugh at the clever word play.

I barely whisper as I look at the walls lined with books and the shelves that reach the ceiling. “Bastet!” A book falls to the floor creating an echo as it lands, startling me. “King Kolby how… what…” I see Althea, Tawny’s Grandmother, the late queen to Tolba standing there with her mouth gaping open like a fish in shock. “Althea!” I exclaim with just as much surprise. “We found another gateway and it took me here.” “Well, yeah,” she says with sarcasm. “They are all over the place in this realm, I guess you just need to know where to look. But I thought you needed the stones to activate the gateways?”

Jack shook hands with both my mom and dad, then turned to me. “See you soon, Ashley.” If he expected a hand shake from me as well, he is utterly mistaken. I don’t want anything to do with this man. Is torture enough I have to travel with him to the train station, but I’ll make sure to sit in a different car. Suddenly, Alpha Atticus appeared on the porch. “Jack, is something the matter?” He looked between us, waiting for his Beta to answer. There is an exchange through the mindlink, evident by how their eyes glassed.

Jack said pointing at the hard exercise book in her hand therefore she went back to the table and place the account book on it flipping it gently to the current date. "Why don't you want me to eat you?" Jack asks whispering by her ear as his breath touches her neck, she shivers in fear. "Sir, are you checking out the account book or not?" Mia asks courteously, she's trying so hard to be polite even when Jack doesn't deserve it. "I want to eat you and have you all to myself" Jack said in vivid tone as he hardly pull Mia by her waist to his chest, she wince in pain. "What do you say?" Jack asks flirtatiously pulling his face closer to Mia's lips.

Jack’s concerned voice called out from behind as he approached Jerry but suddenly stopped, and then- PA! “Hik…?!” Jerry exclaimed, he suddenly felt a sharp stimulation from his butt down to his dick and then to his entire body. Jack said that he was the king id Dream-catchers, but he…I think he hypnotized me and stole the book. Technically, it’s not stealing because I had handed it to him. He took the book and dagger. He is nowhere. The cat is also gone. I don’t know what to do…!” “Easy, easy. Scarlet, Breath. What book? What happened?” Emerald asked Scarlet and gestured Jack to prepare the car for University who obliged instantly.
