Jades pov Jade’s pov “Jade,What are you doing here this late?”Alpha Luca asks. I stand there at his office door looking at him. It’s been 3 days since his been by the ranch. And he looks like complete shit. Alpha Luca is everything you read about werewolves. His 6’5 and built like a god. Has the most amazing hazel eyes, you have ever seen. Then you throw in a dark beard and perfectly cut short hair. I swear, when we go out even with his mate hanging off of his arm every girl stops.

Alaric confirmed her signature and smiled at her. "I don't care about you but close your eyes for a moment" "Why should I do that?" The woman asked alarmed, "You'll Know when you close them" "Look I've done all you asked for, just let me go" "Well you see , I can't do that. You've seen so many and besides you might blackmail me later on and I have the strong mind you will so let's finish this here okay?"Alaric said and looked at the woman. The woman immediately stood up and started running but she hadn't gotten far when Alaric caught her and drained her blood. He left the building and used his powers to set the building on fire.

I just smiled too instead of being angry with them. "What are you doing---" "Oh girl, you're not allowed to refuse here. By hook or by crook, I will take you out of this room, by all means, even if I have to drag you out. Let's smell the fresh air because, hmm… it stinks here," she cut me off. Jacqui's face says that she won't really stop until she can do what she wants. I looked at Mama to ask for help, but she just smiled and said goodbye. "Bye, aunt," said the wicked Jacqui. "Let's go." She dragged me to the bathroom again. "You're taking a bath because, eww, you stink." The witch's nose was still wrinkled. As if I actually smelled.

Her victim, Jackie Miller, needed my attention more. “Jackie, it’s Sage. If you can hear me, sweety, please squeeze my hand,” I whispered in her ear. Thankfully, she squeezed my hand. I knew for sure that Jackie was eighteen, because we had a party for her just before the fire at Hardwick. “Good girl. Jackie’s wolf, please make sure you are healing her. We don’t want her to turn out like Naomi, fighting for her life still,” I whispered again. Jessica stopped screaming, and her head whipped around to face me.

Jacky said with haughty tone. "You definitinately have a reason to let me live. Speak up what is it?" Zac narrowed his eyes. He still holding the gun if jackie's explanation did not satisfy him he would not mind confirming to Katherine that in this bloody battle Jacky accidently lost his life while he tried hard to save him. "I want to see you suffered instead of having a quick death," Jacky said with arrogant tone as he walked forward. Zac did not say anything in response but he did not withdraw his dissect eyes from him.

JACQUELINE POV: Jacqueline rolls over in the dirt and groans. She's too old for this crap. If her granddaughter wasn't in terrible danger, she would let herself die out here in the desert. It would be so easy, She suffered so many bullet wounds. Four at least. Not even a shifter should be able to survive a bullet to the head. But she's still breathing, so that must mean she survived. How long had she been out here? An entire night and day, at least. Could be more, she was in and out of consciousness.

He made a move towards it, but Jake’s hand shot out, grabbing his shoulder. “Slowly,” Jake whispered. “We clear the area first. You don’t just run to your prize.” They moved as a unit, a three-headed creature of survival. Ethel covered the rear, her pistol a comforting weight in her hand. Jake took the lead, his hatchet held low and ready. They moved between the concrete pillars, dispatching two lone walkers with quick, efficient blows to the head before they could even raise a groan.
