Jade Blood Homestuck Novels & Stories

Some were so old they could have been from when she was nothing more than a child. "You're a blood servant," Derek murmured. "A blood slave. Since I was born," Jade Jamal revealed, her voice choked with emotion. She looked like she wanted to cry. I swallowed hard, imagining how much she must have suffered at the hands of such a savage vampire. Jade seemed like such a delicate creature.

Well, I guess my first day here wasn’t so bad after all. Me and June went back to my dorm and I introduced her to Eve. We girls talked a lot about stuff from back home and stuff from here. But our concentration got stuck fully in June because she just told us she was a hybrid. She was half a vampire and half werewolf. And her brother..Jace? He was the soon-to-be vampire king.

I muttered sullenly. Chuckling Daniel nodded. “Jade is a Lycan due to my genes and the conversion bite she received. She's also your marked mate so it will be a wrench tossed into whatever plans those bastards are planning. Rest assured, she loves you, Conri, and belongs with you,” he asserted, and I grinned at him. “I love her too, sir,” I stated firmly and he nodded. “Let's go get her back so you both can have an amazing wedding!”

“You knew this and you still let me carry her? How can you protect us when you’re always running?” “If I don’t run, we’ll all be hunted,” Jade snapped. “You don’t understand the kind of monsters that exist beyond this town. I’ve seen them. I’ve fought them.” “And I’m supposed to stay here and raise a child in fear while you disappear into the woods every night like a ghost?” “I made a promise to protect you both” “But how?!” she cried. “How can I ever explain this to our child? That her father turns into a wolf under the moon? That her blood might get her killed?”

How could they ever sleep knowing they had caused such trauma to a kid. “Ok stay strong baby, I need to talk to him, I need to get through to him” Her side goes quiet so I cut the link and I try to open one up with caden “Caden?” “No!” He snaps back pushing me out, I push back “No caden I’m real! I need you to help me get you and Baylee out of there! Please I’m real!” “No your not! They made it so we can’t link each other” “They did but they never realised you have a natural link with aspen and Baylee, you don’t need to blood share for that, it’s how I’m talking to you, it’s through aspen”

Or maybe it was because she had lost half the blood in her system. Black crashed against the wall, the impact of Dearil's punch causing him to black out on the spot. And as if Dearil could hear Jade's internal wish, he was suddenly by her side, picking her up like she was something precious before he cradled her in his arm, his warmth enveloping her frame as he buried his nose into her scent gland and called out her name over and over again. Jade grabbed onto Dearil, her body tingling with sensations as the poison crept closer to her heart.

"But whatever it was, it cost my son his life." A chill ran down my spine at his words, the realization of the true horror of our actions settling over me like a suffocating blanket. And in that moment, as the weight of Zion's revelation washed over me, I knew that I was treading on dangerous ground. But despite the fear that gnawed at my insides, I refused to turn back. For I was Hazel—the Alpha King of Blood Moon—and nothing would stand in my way. Not fate, not corrupted, not legions of soldiers, not even the goddess herself. As the tense atmosphere in the room hung heavy, a tired pigeon landed on the windowsill outside. Its frantic tapping on the glass drew our attention, and I couldn't h

“Take the blood and leave him alone.” Jade’s smile was triumphant. He nodded to a rogue, who approached cautiously, syringe in hand. The needle pierced my vein, drawing pure silver blood, liquid moonlight shimmering under the dim lights, infused with the full power of my shift. Vial after vial filled, glowing faintly, alive with ethereal energy. Zeph slumped, unconscious now, barely breathing, as they dragged him back to his cell. Jade sealed the last vial, tucking it away. “Thank you, sister. Father will rise soon.” He limped out, leaving us in the dim light.

My hands were cold, and I stared at the screen again. “It is not his empire,” I said. "This is his bloodline." Footsteps resounded outside the room. The door opened. Dino stood with an unreadable expression. "You found something," he said. I swung around and looked at him a-throbbing. "Yes," I replied. His eyes sharpened. "What did you find, Drina?" I turned back and looked at the screen, and then at the man whose name had plagued all corners of my life. "A ghost," I said. "And it belongs to your family."

"You're killing me." "Good. Now we're even." Despite everything—the curse, the chains, the danger—he laughs. A real laugh, rich and warm and completely human. And I realize something profound. The Bloodwraith isn't separate from Kael. It's part of him. A dark, violent, hungry part, yes. But still him. And by accepting it, by not flinching from it, I'm helping him accept it too. Helping him see that he's not a monster wearing a man's face. He's just a man with a curse. And curses can be managed. Controlled. Maybe even broken.
