She knew he was going to hurt her but what he did shocked her to the core.

I didn’t want to see that!” He stumbles backward, eyes still covered. “Happy for you guys!” he yells before fleeing.

I said. Someone walked into the room behind me before Daniel could reply. We both turned to see Jai coming through the doorway. He was only in sweatpants-his chiseled, tattooed chest on display. Jai froze as he saw me and Daniel sitting at the table. "Why are you walkin' around without clothes on, man?" Daniel asked, disgusted. "There's a girl here. Jai looked at Daniel in exasperation. The door at the other end of the room opened and we all turned to see Cain walk in.

I close my eyes, reminiscing on the moment that Sebastian had turned to Zion and asked if we could bring Jai back… (FLASHBACK) “Son… Uncle Jai is hurt, let’s heal him as we did Sia,” Sebastian says as he kneels in front of Zion, who looks up at me before turning to Jai’s body. “But… Daddy… Uncle Jai isn’t hurt… he’s gone.” Zion says, his eyes sparkling with tears as he hangs his head. “I’m sorry.” Sebastian looks broken as he shakes his head and pulls Zion into his arms. “No, son, I’m sorry for asking.”

Davina Courtney stood up to make her announcement, and the room fell silent as everyone waited for her to speak. "So, I just want to share with you all... I'm two weeks pregnant," she said, a smile spreading across her face. Everyone’s mouths dropped open, and confused glances were exchanged as they tried to process her words. "Then who is the father of the child?" I asked, breaking the silence in a mix of curiosity and disbelief. Courtney smiled before answering. "Sebastian is the father."

It was hard to keep them open. I felt my weight shift to one side. I was going down. "Dad."
