We stop at the tree and Jake hands me the untangled earphones and phone. "Thank you." I smile at him and plug the earphones into my ears. I tap play and get on the bike. Ke$ha's "Die Young" plays as I drive away. That is ironic. Kate will die young. I turn my head back to Jake and wave. "See you Monday," he calls out and waves back. I focus on the road in front of me. I'm still shocked about the video. Why was he willing to be punished to help me? He is Tyler's head beta, or however the ranking works. He wouldn't betray Tyler, but he is a fair person.

The bubbles brushed against his forearms as he leaned in slightly. "Come on, princess," he said gently. "Talk to me." Mona's eyes flickered toward him, glassy now. "I don't have a job anymore." The words came out small. Too small. Kane's jaw tightened for a second before he forced it to relax. "Don't worry about that." Her brows pulled together immediately. "But I do," she said, her voice shaking just slightly. "I can't just... not have one." He held her gaze.

So to prevent such from happening, I had to avoid looking straight into his eyes. "Go do your job." Alpha Kyle's voice came after a moment of silence. Immediately, I stood up and bowed to him heading to do my job. I was in charge of keeping the whole pack clean. Looking at the way the pack was at the moment, it seemed like I had been unconscious for a rather long time. I knew I had a lot of work to do, I couldn't dilly-dally around and immediately started my work. Even though at this time I could hardly move as the pain in my body was immeasurable, I had no other choice but to do what I was asked to.

For someone that was only acting Luna and not the real White Howlers’ Luna, she was always there whenever a Pack member was in distress. I sometimes wonder if Alpha River still sometimes feels regret for having lost such a special person like Keira. “I’m okay, thank you. Yes, I think I— uh, I ate something my stomach didn’t agree with.” I lied, trying my best to sound as normal as possible. “Is Auntie Leia and the tiny one going to be okay?” I heard another voice, a softer one, and realized it was Neo. “The tiny one? What do you mean, sweetie?” Keira asked Neo, and my eyes widened in surprise the second I realized what he meant.

Catherine took a deep breath to calm herself. "Catherine, I'm sorry, but..." Tatiane reached out and put her hand on top of her colleague's fist. Her tone of voice was calm. "Is there anything else? In the past, I mean, something you would like to tell someone? I know we only met a day ago, and sometimes these things are very personal, but talking to someone who doesn't know your past can be good. I promise not to pass on what you tell me here, even because it won't add anything to me. Just a friend to vent to. Your anger is genuine, but my intuition tells me there's something more."

One of the new Elders said and the remaining agreed. "Thank you for your support. I hope we will work together and also respect each other, most importantly, you have to respect my wife and know that she had gone through so much bitterness in the hands of the Elders Cyril and his counterparts. Right now she only needs our love and support and I wish you would do that to us." Jake stated. "We will do our best, your highness. We will never disrespect Amby, as she is our Luna and second in command after you." An Elder responded.
