James's body was already covered with a thin layer of sweat. The heat made him more annoyed than usual, and he hated the way others gazed at him as if he were a monkey in a zoo. He's had enough! James glanced menacingly at the crowd watching him as he walked into the library with a displeased face. The A University library was huge. James searched through every corner of the place but couldn't find a trace of Elizabeth. He stopped a girl who was reading beside him and asked coolly, "Have you seen Elizabeth Liang?"

He was glad that he and Michael caught up with him when they did or else they might be facing down two werewolves instead of just this one. He cocked his head and his eyes narrowed as he advanced on the werewolf. He'd been tracking this one for some time but he didn't know exactly who it was until now. His face broke out into a big smile. "Well if it isn't my little friend; White," James said with a derisive snort. "It's been what, a year since I paid you back by invading your cave?" "Oh god," the White said as he looked up at James, "not you."

"But I prefer a space that feels inspiring, not intimidating." "It definitely is inspiring," I agreed, stepping further into the room. My fingers trailed across the spines of the books, drawn to a worn copy of "Pride and Prejudice." "You have quite the collection," I remarked. "Guilty as charged," James admitted with a smile. "I'm a bit of a bibliophile, I'm afraid." We spent the next few minutes discussing our favorite books, a delightful conversation that flowed effortlessly. James pointed out a first edition copy of Sherlock Holmes tucked away in a corner, his eyes lighting up with enthusiasm as he shared the story of how he'd acquired it at a flea market.

And went inside the palace. As James enters the main hall, a maid bowed in front of him and said, "young master, Lord wants you to meet in the library first before the guest arrives." James replied with a warm smile on his lips, "Mrs. Samantha, how many times I have told you not to call me master Just call me by my name. And I will go and meet father but please go to kyle room. She is back." The maid nodded and left the hall. As James enters the library, he saw the man wearing a black long coat staring outside the window and holding a cigar in his hand while puffing that.

A library sounded much better than being lost. So she followed. ⸻ The White Fang Library was breathtaking. Floor-to-ceiling bookshelves. Ancient scrolls. Historical records. Maps. Thousands and thousands of books. Sam’s eyes widened. “Wow.” Metro looked mildly pleased. “It is one of the largest libraries in the North.” “I can see that.” She wandered through the shelves. Running her fingers across the spines. Some books looked centuries old. Others appeared brand new. Everything was organized perfectly. Naturally.

Talia Act naturally rings in my head but how can I when I have several thoughts running through my head at the same time. The way James is holding it is dragging more attention from people, they are staring at him and whispering some silly things. I feel the ground should open and swallow me whole because he is walking towards me with a brisk steps that makes my stomach sink. But wait a minute what is James doing in the library, he never visits the library. I'm screwed. Probably I should deny it wasn't mine.

And lucky for me, St Patrick has a room full of computers. Whitefield doesn’t exist. Neither has Llanwyrtd ever recorded any mass murders. Plenty of people dying by way of being burnt to death, incidentally, but no son has ever killed off his entire family in order to set them free. I tried not to feel defeated as I stared blankly at the computer I’d been using for the last half an hour. Instead of going to my first class, I had come straight to the library, made up some bullshit excuse to the librarian and thirty minutes later, I’m trying to hold in an angry scream.

They said together. "That I miss you kids too?" I hugged them one by one. I looked at Vee who was constantly looking around as if she was looking for something. "I'm just James." At the same time pointing to a bench in the distance. He started walking. "Wait," I said but he didn't listen to me. "Brother James, tell me a story hehe!" "Oh, go ahead and sit down." "Okay, okay, now our story is titled The white doe."

They both look at me with shock on their faces. “I had looked through every book in our library in the palace and in the park, looking for information about white wolves but I didn't find anything, so I went to Scott.” “Wait, Vampire Scott?” Ansel asked. “Yes, remember he has the biggest library.” And they both nodded. “Scott library didn't have anything on white wolves either. His Librarian said it had been cleared out by a park many years ago.” “What?!” Ansel exclaimed. “She also said it looked like it was done on purpose.” I took a deep breath, “so she directed us to an old woman who talks to the spirit from the past.”

His head was bleeding and he was still out cold. He threw Dave over his shoulder again and unlocked the door. The den was quiet, which was normal. The den was only busy when the pack had meetings or celebrations. Usually, James occupied the library room there, but other than that, the den was mostly quiet and empty. James took the stairs down to the basement. ‘Good thing the den is soundproof,’ he thought to himself.
