After the class, I decided to go to the library and wait for Jonathan there. We’re both unfamiliar with our condo locations so we agreed to just wait for each one of us. He still have classes until 6:15 in the evening. Johansson’s Library were huge and full of new collections of different books all around the world. I picked two books with me and look for a table where I can read but all the tables were occupied. I saw an empty chair at the end corner of Science section and marched there.

“What could you possibly have to do that’s so time consuming?” “Are you kidding?” I folded my arms. “Look at this place. I bet you wouldn’t last one hour running a facility as large as this.” Jake sighed and nodded as he looked around. The Greenbrooke Library was huge. It was two stories high with a coffee shop on the second floor, and there was even a garden out back where people could sit and read as they enjoyed the nature around them. I only had one assistant but she was hardly ever in because of her many doctor’s appointments.

Alpha's Aggressive Luna

Alpha's Aggressive Luna

I hesitated only a moment before pushing the door open. The stairs creaked as I followed him down. My pulse stayed steady until the air changed. Thick. Dusty. Old. The basement opened into a forgotten library. Shelves of old books loomed in the dim yellow light, while heavy shadows clung to the corners. Johnny was gone. I froze, scanning the room. His scent was everywhere, so strong it layered over itself, impossible to track. My throat tightened. It felt like walking into smoke meant to hide the fire.

A Drunken Night With My Ex-Husband Boss

A Drunken Night With My Ex-Husband Boss

I stuck out my tongue at the librarian who gave me a death stare. Come and kiss my ass old man. This was like the twentieth book I had opened since I came here, but no atoms of the Vortigan were recorded. Not even their shadow. And this was a restricted section of the library only the immediate family members of the johnsons can access. but still it felt like any news about them had been carefully sieved and destroyed. Or was it just my poor research skills? I might have exaggerated a little when I told Caroline this wasn’t the first time I’d investigated dangerous men.

Finally, there was a breakthrough in Johnson's whereabouts. Ivanna's report shocked me. Johnson frequented Amethyst Apartments, a newly developed upscale apartment community. This revelation reminded me of that key that never seemed to match anything. I wondered if the key belonged to that house but found it hard to accept. I had been with Matthew and endured countless hardships for many years. We had repeated discussions on finding a nurturing environment for Ava to grow up in. We even talked about getting a bigger apartment in a good school district.

This story should be a one star but I know it won’t show if I don’t give it a 5 star rate that how good novel works. Chapter are too short and this story is dragging on forever. I don’t know why I am still reading it. There’s no hot passionate scenes or chapters i don’t know how you got promoted.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

One Night Stand with my Husband

One Night Stand with my Husband

She wondered how much time it took to arrange the books in such a neat order considering the amount of people who step into the library each day. Elaine was greeted by the friendly face of Mr. Johnson, the librarian on duty. His spectacles rested on his nose and a warm smile on his lips,he symbolized kindness. "Good afternoon, Elaine," Mr. Johnson said. "Returning some books, I presume?" Elaine nodded, her excitement barely contained. "Yes, Mr. Johnson. I've had the most incredible time exploring the worlds within these pages. But I guess it is time to part with them." she replied feeling sad as she held tightly to the books.

Reckless Love {Dangerous Passion}

Reckless Love {Dangerous Passion}

“She gave balls, galas, parties, charity events, fund-raisers of every stripe. She actually had a heart and a conscience. She was the human face of an otherwise very imposing old firm. She held a gala one year to raise money for a literary charity at the NYPL—” “Holy shit, you worked at the NYPL?” “Fifth Avenue, Main Branch,” he said with barely concealed pride. “With Lenox and Astor?” she asked, naming the two famous lions that guarded the legendary library.

Morphing Iniquity

Morphing Iniquity

We are both blessed and cursed. Carl Johnson: What fuckin' book? Big Smoke: All we had to do was follow the damn train, CJ!! A couple of hours later Liam: Easy for you to say fatty, just laying back as I do all the work. He pauses the game and puts the controller close to the television. Heads to the bathroom. Library: Jordan: This is the library, it was once a game room but academics happened so here we are. David: looks neat Jordan: I know right, it was my idea. You can find most of the useful books here. I think Ethan told you we are starting our academic year next week.

I honestly like the style of writing, I was introduced to an immense world of beauty through words. The plot of the story gets interesting by each chapter allowing readers to get in touch with the FL. I also got to point out to the well development manner the author follows while developing the Fl.
