Ari looked dejected and was about to talk more when the door suddenly opened and let in a woman in an extravagant pair of clothes with caramel shades. "Oh! Jonathan!" Jane beamed and strode towards Jonathan and Ari. She wore a fashionable dress, paired with boots and a high-class bag. No one would actually believe she worked with a high rank in another HE Group branch somewhere in another state, and by her attitude towards almost everyone, no one would believe she was already married. Jane approached the two and saw Ari for the first time. She couldn't help but check the lady from head to toe. Jonathan could only sigh, not really fond of having too many women around him.

It can’t be. The doorbell rang and Jane snatched her child back and leapt to her feet. “Oh, talk of the devil! That must be Logan!” The old lady got up from her seat and crossed over to the door. No, please don’t. The door opened and the old lady’s nephew stepped in. Taking off his cap, his icy blue eyes fell on Jane and he smiled. “Hello, Jane. We meet again.” It was Logan Summers. And at that very moment, Jane realized she was not paranoid. She was doomed.

Are you enjoying the party?” Jane asked and Antheia’s eyes went to her when she could not find her mate. “Ah yes, and the desserts, they are great!” Antheia replied and her face showed unfamiliarity to the woman which was also understood by Jane. “Right! Her lips were fuller and Mathilde had to admit that Jane looked breathtaking.

I guess I should’ve knocked before entering.” She walked in and dropped the small box she was holding, on the table. I quickly got off the bed, clearing my throat. “I’m sorry. I’m Jane Williams, from the Dark Stone pack.” “Dark Stone? If you’re in this room, then you’re an omega. I feel so bad for you. I’ve heard about how they treat omegas in that pack. Those people are devils, sorry to say.”
