Shawn's came next, clothed in worry. “She had a panic attack, she needs a therapist.”
“Bucket,” Jade called out, blinking her eyes shut as soon as she opened them. She tried to sit up and she felt hands behind her head and waist helping her up. “It's too bright in here.”
“Oh okay,” she heard him say and sensed his absence from her side. She could still sense Lewis' stare on her face.
“Lewis, please excuse us,” she said, curving her lips in a smile as he gave a disappointed grunt and began to walk away. She remembered him say that the one thing to never do as a bodyguard was get attached. Too bad for him.
