After Jason finishes his confession he makes me promise that I won't tell Tommy or Damian and I agree. It's not my secret to share. Tommy calls Knight over. Apparently Knight is a tech wiz and is going to try and break into the castle's infrastructure to see if we find a place where they might be keeping the warlocks. It occurs to me that they might be being kept against their will so we map out the dungeons and cells as well. I'm not sure if I want Jason to find a Delia it could either me a closure or new feelings and I'm not sure if I'm willing to take that chance.

I warned. “No, no, I’m not,” the rogue stammered. “Look, it’s not too far now.” We reached a small mountain. There were two guards who watched as we approached. The rogue stopped and said, “See, it’s right here. I…” I didn’t let him finish and drove my elbow into the back of his skull, cracking his skull. The rogue fell and convulsed on the ground. I stepped over him and approached. The guards tensed but I spoke before they did, “I am Jason, son of Elder Michael of Shadowclaw.”

Amanda cried out. Jason dragged Rory to the couch and dropped her onto it. She didn't move. Her head lolled to the side. "She's just asleep." Jason said with a shrug like it was no big deal. "I had to knock her out. She was screaming too much." Todd's hands curled into fists. His nails dug into his palms. He wanted to kill Jason. He wanted to wrap his hands around his throat and squeeze until he stopped breathing. But the gun was still pointed at him.

I glance over my shoulder. Jason stands there, looking fresh from the shower, damp hair curling across his forehead, black sweatpants hanging on his hips and a hockey shirt clinging to his broad chest and powerful arms. The white bandage I wrapped around his left palm stands out against his skin. My gaze drifts to the cursive English tattoo running along his veiny forearm, and for the first time I can finally read it clearly—'A certain darkness is needed to see the stars.' I try not to read too much into it, but something dangerous pools low in my belly anyway. He holds a canned drink, and when I look up, his eyes are already locked on mine.

Jake’s jaw tightened slightly, but he said nothing, waiting for Joseph to continue. “That’s why we’ve decided,” Joseph said, gesturing to Tammy, “that Tammy will take on the role of Luna. She’s strong, capable, and comes from a respected lineage. She’s the perfect choice to lead this pack alongside you.” Tammy smiled and stood, smoothing out her dress. “It’s an honor, Alpha,” she said sweetly. “I know it’s sudden, but I believe we can do great things together.” Jake stared at her for a long moment, his expression unreadable. Then he let out a long, exasperated sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose.

“C’mere, Prez, and I mean double-time.” Stomping footsteps approached, and then Nails Paxton was in the doorway of Ace’s bedroom, looking ten kinds of seriously-pissed. Ever since that anonymous phone call had come in from someone claiming that Ace Cuddy had killed Kirk, Warren ‘Derby’ Kane (Joker’s own cousin), and Shay Alcott, it had been one hell of a day, and Joker knew that what he had to show Nails was only going to make for a much worse night.

He turned around and saw a face that he hadn't seen in a while. " Christian!" Jason roared, heading back to the door. "My man! Where have you been?" The slightly older young man smiled, as he walked in. He wore tan pants and a wife beater. His bare, in shape arms were covered in tattoos. Though he had many, they all blurred together as if he were wearing sleeves. There was one on his upper right arm that stood out the most. It was of a large, red, fire breathing dragon. He had a small star on the side of his neck. His hair was night black and messy, his voice deep and manly, almost threatening.

Xander chimes in, clapping his hands three times. I giggle and leave the packhouse, making my way to Mama Lil and Papa Garren's cottage. - An hour later we are all ready to go. They guys are all dressed casually. Arkham looks so handsome in a pair of white shorts and a black summer button-up shirt, his tattoos are on shown. He has smart sports shoes on. He's also wearing two silver necklaces, and his hair is styled perfectly messy and sexy. What the hell is wrong with me!?!?
