Others show disdain. The room goes silent. Jason stands at the podium. Takes a breath. Then he begins. "My name is Jason Blackwood. I'm an omega. And I'm here to tell you why that shouldn't define my worth." His voice is steady. Clear. Carrying through the hall with surprising strength. He tells his story. Hiding at the academy. The betrayals. His parents' crimes. Being captured and experimented on. He doesn't shy away from the painful parts. Doesn't try to soften the reality of omega oppression.

Jason hesitated, his voice faltering, “He had a black jacket and a beard, he was tall. When I told him I couldn’t go with him, he got mad and said I didn’t have a choice.” My stomach twisted, “What did you do?” “I bit him,” Jason said, his voice trembling, “And then I ran as fast as I could. I found an old shack and hid there until I saw him drive away. I didn’t know how to get back, and then the man who brought me here found me.” Jeff placed a hand on Jason’s shoulder, his voice steady but filled with anger, “You did the right thing, Jason, you were so brave.” Tears welled in my eyes as I hugged Jason again, “I’m so proud of you sweetheart. So proud.”

He just felt homey and safe and that made me feel welcome in his presence. There was certainly no fire like I felt with Jason. It should have been a bad thing but I’m weirdly relieved. I didn’t even want to think too deeply about that. So I forced my mind to return back to the present, where Jason was on his phone and Reed was telling me stories. He was great at telling stories. You’ll feel like you’re experiencing it first hand. “Wait, to think of it. That was the last time I was at the beach before we came a few nights ago.” His nose scrunches. “I ended up in the hospital again. I see what you’re saying sea Gods.”

He said and I exhaled seeing that it was nearly full and Everest along with his girlfriend were there too. “ Please don’t leave me alone.” I found myself confessing to him and his eyes widened a little before he nodded. “ Woah, today wasn’t so bad.” I said when school was over and found out that I was smiling from ear to ear. This new life was…new and cool but nothing beat having actual training and stuff like we did in Lygard. “ Do you guys ever brawl ?” I asked Jason, that was his name. He was too busy going off on this unspoken mind battle with Everest for some reason.

“I-Impossible!” Jason was someone with whom she grew up together. He was her life’s belief! Jason said that he was being forced into hard labor abroad. Jason also said that wandering around overseas all those years, there were a few times he wanted to die. If it were not for his feelings toward her and how he missed her, he might not have lived… He said that seeing her again was what supported him to live on and returned back to the country. However, if what Jason said were all through and he was not lying, then how should she explain the photos that Zach showed her?

“She’s scared. Scared of who the father might be.” Kourtney’s eyes narrowed. “You’re not saying it’s Travis?” Jason shook his head. “No. But it’s complicated. There was someone else. Someone close.” Kourtney felt her heart drop. “Who?” Jason hesitated, then spoke quietly. “Me.” The words hit her like a punch. “You? How—when?” Jason’s face was etched with regret. “We were together. Briefly. Before things got messy with Travis. Kim never told anyone.” Kourtney stared at him, disbelief and shock battling inside her.

he said and they laughed. "I'll visit as soon as I settle down," he promised. "Leave, before you miss your flight," Jason shooed him away. "Bye!" He said and left. "Where's he going anyway?" Alessia asked as she began rinsing Tess's hair. "Atlanta," he said. "Wow." "What about the Asian couple?" Jason asked about Tae-ho and Fei. "They went on tour." "Really?" "Yeah, apparently some money that belonged to Mr. Harvey was found in the toilet where Tae-ho almost died. They kept it for themselves as payback for what he did to them."

“Don’t worry too much, uncle. I can support you financially.” Jason was bemused at the offer. He had some illegal businesses but couldn’t let her know since he didn’t want to worry or scare her. So, he kept silent. “I know. I’ll look for a job tomorrow.” “You can rest for a few more days. There’s no hurry.” “Okay.” Jason’s gentle smile disappeared the instant Zoey got in the car and left. He could tell that she had been having it rough these years. Robert Jenner had been quick in destroying the Fultons back then. Jasmine Teller and her daughter were venomous snakes as well. Zoey must’ve suffered at their hands.

She just waved him off and continued talking. To be fair, I enjoyed her stories too. She teared up a little when she started talking about Jason's parent and how they passed away in a car accident. Jason was still too young to remember them...she said he was around eight or nine. They dropped Jason off at her place that night to go to a party. They were on their way back when they met with an accident. Apparently the driver had too much to drink at the party and he didn't even speak up, even Jason's parent were unsuspecting. A moving truck had hit the car and Jason's parent died on impact but somehow the driver survive the accident but he was still serving time in the prison.

More to that, Jason knew his personal history wasn't known publicly and this was the first time he was telling it. Jason hated using his sacred life story as a shield for not knowing what to say but had no idea about what else to say. "I didn't have any place to sleep since there was no money to continue paying rent. A few weeks after her death, I was taken to an orphanage that had my mother's remaining property sold. A year later, however, I ran away from the orphanage after enduring cruel treatments and child abuse". Jason could see some guests shedding tears while the faces of others were covered with surprise at his story. He smiled inwardly and continued.
