Before I could answer Ryder, a slow, mocking clap broke the silence.
“Well, don’t they make the cutest couple?”
The voice made my stomach twist. Jasper.
He pushed himself off the wall, blood still on his lip but that same smug grin plastered across his face. His eyes swept over the pack, then back to me, full of venom.
“Sorry to ruin your fairytale moment, everyone,” he said, voice dripping sarcasm, “but whether she’s wolfless or glowing like some Moon Goddess miracle, little Cinderella here is still not fit to be the Luna of your precious pack.”
