LAIKA The Jaw did not come directly at us; it hovered over the cave for a while, giving MOLART enough time to dissuade me from the fight. But I stood my ground. The Jaw glided toward me, and I felt a rush of energy. I did not withhold it, so I let it surge. I stretched out my hands and wielded fire. As usual, I did not know how to stop. Even after the bird flew away, I was still wielding fire, and my energy was draining. I staggered around the place until I fell into brawny arms and the power stopped.

Jason chuckles. I feel a hand graze up my thigh; I tense in fear and scream when he reaches the apex of my thighs, "Stop! Please don't! Nooo!" I sob scream, trying to close my legs with what little strength I have left; it's a failed effort as Jason manages to pry them apart effortlessly. "Kaden!" I scream through my erratic and painful sobs, "Kaden!" My screams turn to gurgles when Jason punches my other cheek, effectively ruining my entire bottom jaw, before returning to my nether regions, forcing fingers inside me.

Jackson POV When Jewels came forward I was expecting her to be scared like Rose. I underestimated her by hundreds of miles. Jewels has a very blunt and straightforward personality with an I don’t care attitude. The way Jewels stalked toward Damien had me worried, she had a glint in her eye that had me convinced she was going to kill him. I was torn between protecting my alpha and saving my mate from herself. I got lucky when she stopped right in front of Damien and turned to talk to both of us.

His teeth elongated into fangs, and he snarled like a feral animal. "We need to restrain him!" Paul shouted over Kirk's inhuman howls. "If he gets loose like this, he could hurt someone or himself!" Jazz nodded, his expression pained. "There are chains in the basement. Leah, go get them!" Isabella took Leah’s place as she sprinted from the room. Kirk's convulsions intensified. His nails lengthened into claws, tearing gashes in the wooden table beneath him. The veins in his neck and arms bulged, and the blood within pulsed.

“Maybe, but I want you. Like I said I have a proposal. Fuck me and I will let your stupid husband live.” Jazz stood watching him. Her stomach coiled tightly. His words ringing in her ears. From the corner of her eyes she noticed Eva crawling towards John Warren. Her movements were quick as she grabbed the man fully on his erection. “This is mine,” she screamed before biting him through his pants. “Fuck, bitch, get away from me.” “Yes…fuck…fuck me.” She said gleefully. “Get away from me,” John said furiously. His eyes were scanning the room, squinting with predatory focus. “Too many men are looking at you,” he muttered. His jaw tightened, and I saw his fangs begin to emerge. I pinched his arm hard before he could expose himself. He hissed in pain and looked at me with a pout. “What was that for?” “You need to keep the wolf under control, Ethan,” I whispered, meeting his gaze firmly. “We just moved here. Act like a normal human.” He scrutinized me, his long lashes fluttering as he searched my expression. I didn’t break eye contact. After a silent staring contest, he sighed in defeat and looked away, his hair falling over one eye. He didn’t let go, though; he just pulled me closer.

I growled as he glinted at me. "Move and she suffers more," Jade snarled, his scarred face twisted into a mask of cruel triumph. We froze, our wolves snarling furiously inside us, claws itching to extend. The knife pressed harder against her throat, but she heals fast, we reminded ourselves through the bond, minds linked in desperate unison. We took a cautious step forward.
