As I stepped outside, inhaling the salty sea breeze that rustled my hair from the messy bun I’d thrown it into, I realized the car was a pale shade of pink.
The window slid down, revealing Nova’s heart-shaped face.
“Need a ride?”
“Yeah, thanks.” I mumbled, nearly falling over sideways as I tried to slip into the passenger’s seat.
The thing was crazy low to the ground.
My eyes were drawn to the baby pink leather that covered the interior of Nova’s car, along with the diamond-studded flowers protruding from the vents, the glitter speckled canvas lining the roof, and the furry dice hanging from the rearview mirror.
