I heaved a deep sigh, "Hera never meant to hurt Jane. That's what she said. You all misunderstood. And to answer your question, this thing in my hand may or may not be a peace offering. Depends on how this goes." Jake scowled, but not at me. The female was speaking again. Maybe he didn't like her voice. "It will go well, Alpha Jett," she said gently. "You did the right thing bringing it with you." I glanced all around, using my senses to check how many wolves were about. Merritt and his people were around, though not on sight. Jake began speaking again, "So if all goes well, they get it. But if a fight breaks out, you don't give it?"

I swear it. When I returned to the pack house, Jake was already there, his face twisted in pain as he spoke with a group of warriors. He looked up as I approached, his eyes locking onto mine. “Who?” he asked simply. “Tim,” I said, my voice breaking. “They killed Tim.” Jake’s expression darkened, his jaw clenched so tightly I thought it might break. He turned away, slamming his fist into the nearest wall. The sound echoed through the room, a raw, physical manifestation of his rage.

“So, Jax. Do you know anything about our trip to town and if the roads are clear?” Jax closed his eyes and I was surprised when I realized he was chatting over the pack link. This form of communication still amazed me. An answer came back a short time later and he looked down at us. “The trip has been approved. Ian and a few of the other delta’s will be joining us in town. The Alpha has a few errands for us anyway. There is a truck waiting for us.” He led us to a huge garage bay where there were several vehicles parked.

Jack pulled up to the national exchange center with his unmarked pod. He stopped in the travel center to relieve himself and grabbed a bag of potato chips. He didn't really notice the taste as he absently popped them into his mouth on the way back to the pod. He stopped mid-step as he noticed a person standing next to the pod he just left.

Aside from those empty and broken cars parked in all corners of the port ahead of us, the entire place must be dull. Jasper then grabbed his phone and dialed someone's digits. "Just want to clarify if the boat's ready as discussed earlier," he muttered closer to the phone. He reached out to the door of the car and pushed it open before he lifted his head and dragged his gaze from the distance. "You mean the small motorboat?" he added. Jasper nodded at me to head out of the car. "I told you to provide a real boat. A bigger boat." Jasper suddenly kicked the wheels of his car. His facial expression was telling me that whoever that man on the other line of the phone failed to provide him with wh

Hopefully, nothing happens to the pack forever. "Meanie." Sophie grumbled as Papa helped her lift her huge kit box onto the moving truck. "That's the last of it." Papa said, wiping beads of sweat off his forehead with a little handkerchief. A car pulled up close to ours. The boys. Zharn, Cage, and Jax had been pretty helpful with the moving and helped in every way possible. Zharn gifted Dad the large truck to make moving easy, but Papa refused, saying he'd pay him back in installments instead.

Jackson said as he stared at Parker. They were both sitted on the cab. “Saint Lawson’s Street”. Jackson said to the taxi driver. Parker couldn't speak yet. FEW MINUTES LATER…. Jackson helped his poor dad get down the car,as the cab drove off. He stared at the big mansion , Jackson was still unaware of what they were doing at a mansion he had never seen before. Parker had requested inform of a written note that he needed to be there once he was discharged from the hospital.

"I won't ask for a ride because you're busy. Looks like I can't go home anytime soon. I should buy a car at the dealership later so I can go around easier. "Jonah, do you know anyone at the dealership? Can I get a discount?" Jonah, breathing heavily, grabbed Julien's wrist. Julien's eyes wavered, and his heart was beating like crazy. Jonah, pursing his lips, drew Julien closer to his heaving chest. He remarked, "Giving you a ride doesn't take up much time. Pick any car you like from the underground garage when you return to Heightsnew Villa." … Jasper did not take anything for two days except for some water. He was sleeping for the rest of the time.
