Damien held me to his side possessively and I must say, I love this new side to him. "Bethany, this is my wife, Jaycee" he introduced. Although his smile didn't quite reach his eyes as he stated at the woman, I could see they were not in good terms. Bethany forced a smile on her face. "Charmed" she said taking my hands in what is supposed to be a handshake but I felt like she was squeezing my hands and grinning. I pulled away quickly as if I were burned.

He watched Damion's muscles ripple in response. "I didn't do anything." Jayce growled. His hands sharpened to claws. "Bullshit. What did you do to Lily?" Damion snarled at him. Jayce's growl shook the walls, forcing Damion down to a knee. He towered over him as he attempted to rise. "Why do you care so much about her?" He asked him. "She's the Luna, and Erica's best friend. I have every right to care about her." Damion told him. Jayce grabbed Damion by his shoulders and lifted him up. Both of their faces were warped from partially shifting.

Alpha Xavier's Assistant," He said and returned his attention to his job.

They are meant to be together, and I won’t let some nobody like you ruin that.” The younger woman, Caitlyn, gave me a tight, condescending smile. Her eyes held a mix of pity and disdain, as though she were regarding a child who had foolishly overstepped her place. I forced myself to meet her gaze, though I could feel my heart pounding.
