"It is reported that the murder was committed by Susan Jones, the wife of the old director of Jones Group..." None of them survived. Charles, Derek, Samantha, Jenson, and Susan—all of them died. "Mrs. Jones left a suicide note, claiming that this was done for her daughter Celine..." I could no longer process the words I heard after that.

Out of utter curiosity, Jasper and I studied the paper Nathaniel just showed us. It was a photo of someone's conversation that involves business payment transactions. And it says the other person in the conversation is the killer sending a visual confirmation of a dead wolf. So, I checked the list on my phone and just found out two of them were already deleted. From fifteen, it goes down to thirteen. And while staring at Joshua and Justine's names, my worries and fears could not help but emerge on their own.

He eventually confessed that a certain individual existed. A profound silence descended upon the table. My mother altered her position minutely while her fingers twisted into tight spirals upon her lap. She strained to keep her face blank yet her eyes betrayed something undefinable. Jealousy. And when she took something from you, you couldn’t handle it. So, you killed her.” Why was he saying this? I and Amelia had our issues but I was never jealous.

The blood and texts on the suicide note were gruesome.

“I did not find who did that to Julienne but I do have a hunch as to who is to be blamed for his death. All the others were mere whimsical handwriting. I started thinking about the possibilities for that notebook to exist. If it were a list of traitors, then it would make sense for Hunter to be on it.
