His dad’s plan had seemed straightforward at first—step into a rich kid’s shoes, fake a relationship for the cameras, boost some brand. Easy money, easy exit. But then Roland happened. Those stolen moments, the way his smile lit up the room, the late-night talks that felt too real. Jeffery had fallen anyway. Now here they were, trapped in this fancy penthouse that suddenly felt like a cage. “I trusted you,” Jeffery said, quieter this time. Kade turns towards him and the guy just lifts a gun, pointing it straight at my forehead and carries on talking as though he isn't. "I'm Jeff by the way. You've got to tell me, is she a good fuck? I've seen you two at it a couple of times and I've got to say, she looks like she knows what she's doing. I don't mind a bit of dominance between the sheets. I'm thinking she could ride me all night long, what do you reckon?"

She looked like she could fall asleep any second. Thirdie finally stepped inside his study. Jeff straightened. “Sir.” Thirdie raised one finger slightly, signaling him to wait. His eyes were still on Kathalina. “Sleep,” he murmured softly. She tried to keep her eyes open. “You’re still working…” “Hmm.” “That’s bad,” she whispered. He smiled faintly. “Go to sleep.” The last thing she heard was Jeff’s low voice in the background. Then her eyes slowly closed. Her breathing became steady.

Jeff looked at the watch he was wearing and it was only ten o'clock at night and it wasn't late at night but he couldn't escape sleepiness. He looked at Bert but he was already bent down which means he had fallen asleep. He stood up and entered the room where they left John Dave's body. It was still asleep, looking like a corpse. "Is the sleeping pill they smelled on him really that effective?" He said in his mind. He knew he had drunk alcohol but when he saw the young man's face he was horrified. He left the room again and returned to his companions snoring from drunkenness. He was fighting sleepiness so he went to the small kitchen to wash up. He lost his sleep when his face got wet.

"Should I... should I remind you again that I got your family? That I have all you CCTVs? That I want a clean fucking job! Yuck! I don't want my hands to get dirty you idiotic brain!" I didn’t say anything to anyone about eating early except for baiting the listening device. “Jeff really can’t be dumb enough to just throw that info out, right?” I ask my wolf. “He’s been hit in the head few times. So, we can’t be sure.”

“Jeff, get me five of your best girls. The type men like Damon can't resist.” Jeff hesitated on the other end. “Boss…? “And one of them,” I continued, my voice dark and decisive. “Will carry a little gift for our dear Damon.” Jeff caught on immediately. “A sedative?” “Obe strong enough to knock him out cold, but not immediately.
