I kept looking around as Maddox spoke highly of his Ace warriors, and by the end of my observation, I already saw five knives everywhere, including one hanging in Xander’s pocket, like a Swiss knife but bigger. Jeff continued his movement, stepping under the man's arm, grabbing his wrist and turning it in. The punk dropped the knife with a whine and Jeff finished the move he had practiced thousands of times with a roundhouse kick to the ribs. As the man doubled over in pain, Jeff stepped in and finished him off with an elbow strike to the nose. He was rewarded with a loud breaking sound and a cry of pain as the man dropped to the ground.

A blade sliced through the air, metal glinting as it cut toward Jeffery. Clara shoved him hard, throwing him off balance. The knife plunged into her stomach, and she gasped, pain stealing her breath. The attacker muttered something, hesitated, then signaled his partner. They vanished into the shadows.

* Bang * Jeff abruptly tasted the metallic taste of blood, he opened his mouth to speak but was shut up by another blow followed in a continuous pattern. Valeria gasped from afar watching her terror. It seemed like everyone was afraid to go next to Xander at the moment. The red look in his eyes and the popped-up vein was a sight to be scared off. She held the hem of her dress. " Stop it. Xander, it's enough " Val rushed trying to separate Xander from completely ruining Jeff's face. She could only tug on his suit, for he was not in the mood to listen to anyone.
