The Art of Jessica Jane

The Art of Jessica Jane

Because for the first time in months, a possibility had emerged that frightened her more than Ethan Blake. The possibility that she was slowly becoming the very thing Henri had spent years trying to protect her from. And for the first time, she wasn't entirely sure whether she wanted that possibility to be false. Outside, the city slept. Inside her apartment, Jessica lay awake staring into the darkness. The notebook remained locked inside her bag. Closed. Untouched. Yet somehow it felt closer than ever. Waiting. Patient. Like a door she knew she shouldn't open again. And already planning to.

Forbidden Temptations (A Collection of Steamy Tales)

Which was her normal look so I couldn't tell what was going on. I turned to Mrs. McKenzie. The same Mrs. McKenzie who had run into me in the sex shop down the street and had suggested I get the G-spot vibrator. Her smile was fixed and for some reason it looked like she was avoiding eye contact. Jenna had a Bible in her hand. It was one of those black leather types that was big but not so big that you couldn't put it in a bag. That was the first sign of impending danger. Her cherry complexion and pleasant face were highlighted by her white blonde hair. She didn't have makeup on but would easy turn heads if she was to walk into a bar. Her cream suit gave off an authoritative vibe.

Alpha Aidan's Rejection

Alpha Aidan's Rejection

I said, changing the topic as my eyes found the truck. Jenna’s face squeezed, but I knew that my friend was interested too. “Before food?” “Yes,” I replied, and Jenna nodded. Before long, we were chatting away at the restaurant, and all was well since Jenna had not only secured us the best booth in her but also their famous bestselling recipe. “How’s work been? Anything particularly interesting happening lately?” I asked as we dug into our food. Jenna waved me away, red hair falling into her face as she took a bite. “Work is boring as hell, but that’s a good thing in the line. It’s better to be cautiously watching the borders than actively fighting to keep attackers away.”

Betrayed By Ex, Loved By My Billionaire Boss

"Why are you telling me this now?" "Because I like you," Jenna said simply. "And you're not like them." I felt the wind chill against my skin. "What should I do?" "Play smarter. Ask fewer questions. And whatever you do... don't trust anyone fully. Not even him." Her voice was firm. I nodded slowly, my heart thudding.. Then her phone buzzed. She checked it—and froze. "What?" I asked. Her face was pale now. "Cassandra's not here for Kimberly."

Elf To Tame A Werewolf

Elf To Tame A Werewolf

And it's not working'. Saelyna turns then, and walks straight for her hut, that awful green book in her hands. She looks up suddenly, catches my glance, and looks away. I find myself cringing inwardly, but I turn swiftly, and head for the peace of the plateau. I smell the sweet smoke before I crest the top, and I know Jenna must be burning incense to whatever god she thinks is listening. Sure enough, she approaches, her long dark gown billowing in the wind, lending her the look of the priestess she used to be a lifetime ago. 'I see you came to seek out the purdah of these fields,' she says. There is a certain calm to her that I can't place, but keeps me on edge all the same. 'Not really….' '

The Beta's Mate

Jenna shares with me. I look at the four different desks. I am drawn to one in particular, as we move forward. “I am surprised that is the one you want to look at first. It is the most recent purchase she made,” Jenna muses as she moves to an older desk. “I just have this feeling,” I murmur to her as I help Jenna move the desk around that she wanted to look at.

Guys! Read this story!!! All of Ellie’s stories are amazing! They pull you in, they’re well written and they have characters that you both love and love to hate. You can’t go wrong with this story, or any of them really!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I’ve read 5 other books by this author and this is my favorite. Her writing pulls you in. The characters will frustrate you, make you laugh and cry. The plot is full of surprises and suspense, redemption and healing. Highly recommend. Read Healing Powers first.

Fragments of Elysium: Love on Campus

Fragments of Elysium: Love on Campus

*Lily* The tome from the university library lay splayed open on my bed, its pages dense with archaic references that swirled in my head, leading nowhere. I decided to abandon the futile study session, restless energy propelling me through the corridors of the Bronze Wing dormitory. Arriving at Jenna’s door, I hesitated, hand hovering before the wood hesitantly. Her situation gnawed at me, an unsolved puzzle that kept me awake and unsettled. It wasn't that late yet, but she could be sleeping already. I was certain she hadn't had a tranquil night of sleep last night because of what happened, but I needed to talk to her.

Alpha's Dirty Secrets

Alpha's Dirty Secrets

"I know. But her spirit is here." They all looked around as if Brinah was going to magically appear out of nowhere. "Okay," Sarah said. "What did she want?" "To tell me that Jenna has the books Rafe stole and is doing something dangerous with them." Cullen growled, "We kind of already know that." Sarah gave him a hard look when Aislinn's head fell with his tone. "Is there anything more than what you already knew though?" "If I don't get the books away from Jenna before someone else gets them something terrible will happen," Aislinn said, knowing that it didn't sound very convincing or powerful.

Tamed By The Spy Alpha

Tamed By The Spy Alpha

It was far enough away from her old life that she could start anew, but close enough that she still felt connected to it. She was a librarian, and she had always been passionate about books. Jenna had always been curious about the world, and she felt like Shadowbrook was the perfect place to explore. She had heard rumors of strange things happening in the town, but she was sure that it was just the locals gossiping. Jenna had always felt different. Growing up, she had always been the odd one out, never quite fitting in. She had always known that there was something special about her, but she had never been able to put her finger on it.
