She looks young enough to be in my age group. She's a little taller, and she's pretty, if I may add. Seeing the confusion in my face, she stretches her hand. “I'm Ruby. Your personal assistant,” she introduces herself with a smile. I shake her hand, finally recalling what Gavin had told me earlier. “Well, you don't have to worry about anything. I've got you,” she assures me.

Ruby, ever the observer, tilted her head curiously, “A friend of yours, Rhea?” “Yes.” I said, turning toward her, “Aurelia helped me that day, it was before the accident happened.” Ruby’s sharp gaze softened, “Ah, then I should thank you on Rhea’s behalf.” She said smoothly, offering her hand. “I’m Ruby Valtieri.” Aurelia blushed, shaking her hand timidly, “Oh, of course! I’ve read about you. It’s an honor, really.” “Flattery will get you everywhere, darling.” Ruby said with a playful smirk, before linking her arm through mine again, “Now, you must join us. We’re shopping, and I don’t take no for an answer.”
