Jenny slid into the room and did a twirl in front of everyone, her costume swirling around her lithe body. “Are you ready, girls?” She asked with a wide smile on her face. “Yes!!” the small room erupted in loud cheer as my colleagues stood up. I managed a small smile, and glanced at the ecstatic faces. I wished I could be like them, happy and excited. Instead I was a nervous wreck, constantly twisting the ring on my middle finger.

I opened it and ignoring those from Arnold. Jenny: ‘‘Are you sure you’re not going to change your mind in regards to leaving New York?’’ was her message with a sad emoji. I smiled as I typed a reply saying, ‘‘I’m sorry Jenny… But I’m sure about my decision. I have thought about this a million times, so nope… I’m not going to change my mind…’’ I could imagine her pouting and the thought made me feel downcast. I clenched my phone tightly in my grasp.

I'm suddenly glad I didn't take it further with this woman. She seems to study at me through heart-shaped glasses, beaming so brightly I could easily mistake her for a serial killer—there is nothing normal in that smile of hers. It wouldn't surprise me if she pulled a knife out of nowhere. I force a smile. "Right, so I... Uh, need to grab a cab and leave."

“Are you… waiting for someone?” Jenny’s head snapped up a little too quickly. Her eyes widened for half a beat before she gave a nervous laugh, waving her hand dismissively. “What? No. No, of course not. I was just—” she hesitated, clearing her throat, “I was lost in thought, that’s all. Thinking about… something silly. Don’t mind me.” Her lips curved into a smile, but her eyes darted back to the door for the briefest second, betraying her.

"You are Aria, right?" "Yes." I nodded as I glanced at Dave with a confused look. He gave me a reassuring smile before I turned my attention back to Jenny who took a few steps closer to me. "I'm Jenny. It's nice to finally meet you." She stretched her hands toward me with a smile on her face. "Nice to meet you too." I took her hand in a handshake. Her smile morphed into a glare when she noticed Dave was not paying attention to her, and her hands tightened on mine, causing me to feel pain. The smile returned to her face seconds later as she released my hand.

Jenny said with a professional smile, her tone warm and enthusiastic as she held my arms in a quick embrace. "Can you help me get into the company?" I pointed to the security passageway that required an employee card. "I don't have one!" "Are you kidding me?" Jenny's eyes widened in disbelief. "You're Mrs. Hartford, and just with your face, everyone has to make way for you!" Her exaggerated tone made me a little uncomfortable. It reminded me of the way people often smiled when they didn’t really mean it. I just smiled politely at her. "Today is my first day back at work. I don't want to attract too much attention! So, you know!"

I muttered with a sad smile. "But not from us... no matter what happens, we'll always be here for you." Savannah whispered as she gave me a reassuring smile. "I'm so glad you've finally cut ties with those toxic influences. Now my baby is free to be whoever and do whatever she wants!!" Jenny screamed out happily, to probably lighten the mood and it worked. Just then, the TV in front of us was turned on and someone familiar came on screen immediately. "Isn't that Liam?" Jenny asked in surprise.

Stay. “They're waiting at the house now! Come on!” Jenny yells impatiently. “He's not coming with you. You should go home, miss.” Era says behind me. When I look at her she's smirking at me. It's the kind of smirk I wanna kiss right now. Where did this spirit of hers come from? She doesn't even know who she's talking to. It's Jenny Silver, the popular girl in town. Every guy would fall on their knees just to get her yes.

I don't have friends - I am not sure if that is something that I should be proud of. Well, it's not like I don't try to approach my classmates or try to interact. It’s just that I have a weird smile. No, it's not the type of smile that involves weird and rotten teeth - I have perfectly white and straight teeth. You see, my smile is fatal and dangerous. Just one look at these weapons and even the ferocious growl of a mountain lion would seem harmless. If this were a comic, I would call this attack: The Killer Smile.

Jenny instantly forced a smile and said, "Ah! Who said so? I am very happy right now." Shallie smiled, "That's good if you are happy. Wanna have some tea?" Jenny disapproved and said, "No, I should leave now." Shallie loved the frustrating expression on Jenny's face. Jenny started leaving. After a while, her gaze fell over Jennifer. She decided to greet her. She walked towards her and said, "Hey!" Jennifer turned around and saw Jenny's face. She got excited, but she replied in a slow voice, "Hey! Where are you these days?"
