Celia doesn’t belong here and she is already prohibited from being here. It would take her months for sure! She looked at the one she had just kept aside. So far, in the four hours of unbroken concentration, the only thing she had been able to garner was the origin of gods, the origin of the world, the origin of the supernaturals present in the world. And she wasn’t even sure her transcriptions had been correct, if the beings that had been mentioned in the book existed now. Like dragons. What were the flying creatures doing in this century? She had peeped at the date of publication; 1506. How had Jiraq gotten these books? She wondered; her eyes still fixed on them. And to think that he had promised her more if they returned to the pack.

I told him one afternoon, reading one of his letters. Elijah was sitting next to me, with one hand on my belly. “Emmett has included a reading plan for the first year,” he said with amusement. “What books?” I asked, frowning. “Inter-tribe political history, an introduction to defensive strategy, and illustrated animal stories,” Elijah said with amusement. “At least he added some stories,” I muttered sarcastically. “The note says they’re meant to be a break between serious topics,” Elijah said seriously. I brought a hand to my face.

"You cried. I was there!" The last words Jericho said caught Rhezi's attention the most. She couldn't forget that certain moment. She was walking alone in the hotel after she declined her friends offer to sleep over. Jericho approached her and told her about Kraius and his escapade. She was with him when he witnessed everything and he was also the one to pull her out of that place. If it was just a coincidence then why did her mind tell her it wasn't? Why did her heart hurt from the images and memories that would lead him to prove her guts?
