His chocolate hair was tied in a top knot, face clean-shaven with pretty boy features that resembled Ace and Gunnar. He wasn't just a genius but good-looking with a broad chest that led to a lean waist. "I see you've filled out nicely," Ace muttered in greeting, "how often do you hit the gym?" Jericho pinched his eyes shut and rubbed them with his thumb and forefinger, "This isn't about me," he then blinked and focused his attention on me, "it's good to finally meet you."

Jericho was as tall as his brother's but his body was lean and toned. Scanning the room, his eyes landed on me and lit up with interest, "You must be Daniella," Jericho smiled and it was unlike the smile I received from his two brothers. This smile looked genuine, "Nice to finally meet you. My brother over here hasn't stopped talking about you." He looked over to Ace who all but sent Jericho a death glare.

His eyes glazed over as he mindlinks someone. I’ve never seen a rogue mindlink before. What the hell is going on here?!? There must be a path on the rock face behind him, because out of nowhere Jericho appears. I don’t see Rieka, but now I know why Jericho didn’t show up. Even with the direction of the wind, I can pick up the rogue stench on Jericho. He’s got a good poker face and at this point I can’t tell if he is on our side or Silas’ side, but my wolf is pushing forward in anger wanting to get answers from Jericho. Why does he stink like a rogue, but the others apparently don’t?

It was a fighting pose I haven't seen since my father. I felt helpless, watching from the sidelines with my barely conscious body. “I promise to make it quick,” “I doubt it will come to that,” he replied. There was a short intense silence, everyone watched in suspense, wondering what might happen next. Just before Jericho could make a move, the mercenaries broke down the door. They grabbed him in time, holding him back from attacking. It took six of them to successfully subdue and take the dagger off his hand.

He laughed softly against my ear like the threat amused him more than scared him. “You really should stop running every time you see me.” “I really should’ve gotten security involved the first time you approached me.” That only made him smile wider. God, I hated rich people. “You know,” Jericho began while lazily leaning back into the couch with me still trapped against him, “my brother would’ve lost his mind seeing this.” “Good,” I shot back immediately. “Maybe both of you should leave me alone permanently.” His expression shifted slightly at that, amusement fading into something sharper.

She had felt this energy twice before, once when she found out about werewolves, and once at the academy when her instructor knocked her on her ass. Jericho’s eyes moved to the gun as he made his way toward her. He could smell her. His cock already twitching at the thought of its meal. “Names Jericho.
