The White Rose Of Damnation
Between rocks, relics surfaced—an old rusted weapon, a fallen banner, a half-buried armor skeleton—memories of crossing groups who never returned.
Abigail spoke in a hush.
“They were… different, weren’t they?”
Sky nodded.
“The Shadow World doesn’t kill quickly. First it takes your hope. Your faith. Your intent.”
Faith stared into the distance, jaw set.

And with those words, something settled between them—final, unbreakable.
Sky stopped before a tall pass flanked by jagged stone. The rocks were black as the deepest hour of night, and the cold that seeped from them nearly shoved the breath back into their lungs.
