Chapter 50 Jason always wanted the best for Jasmine, now more so than ever. It was obvious that he wasn't 100 percent on board with Hope plans, especially after the conversation they had before the wedding ceremony. Hope was an enigma, one that he had long given up any hope to decipher. The more he tried to understand her, the less he succeeded in that pursuit. One minute she could act as your sworn enemy and the next she was your only choice of help and you could not deny her because there is practically no other option apart from her.

Cassie’s heart swelled. She looked at Damon, whose proud smile matched her own. Their children weren’t just growing they were becoming. A week later, Hope presented her proposal to the Turner Foundation board. She walked into the boardroom wearing a tailored navy blazer and black slacks, her curls pinned up, her voice clear and composed.

My chip buzzed unexpectedly as I gaze at another billboard of advertisement for pleasure and gluttony. It was Wayne so I immediately admitted the ring. Jonathan: What? Wayne: In the cab now? Jonathan: Just got in earlier, why? Wayne: Master is early as well as Mr. Jimenez, Cross, Blood Judas, Humpleton, Sakura-chan, and Catherine Jones including me you f*cking cobb. Jonathan: Tell them I'm almost there.

Hope picked up her cell phone and texted someone, I arched my eyebrows, trying to imagine who Hope had called. What seemed like an eternity was only a minute, until I saw Joshua coming back to life, but shrouded in those corrupted shadows that were slowly released by Hope. In the middle of Joshua's transformation and control, I felt the energy of Marcus Angelis. He was the one Hope had called, there was no other explanation. Marcus was supposed to be the one who could counter the energy Hope was emanating, but the Angel Hunter stood still, with a corner smile and his hands in his pockets.

Jessica began as her eyes swept through her audience until it focused on the camera, creating a telepathic connection between her and everyone who was watching. "As you all know, I am Jessica Hemsworth, wife of Justin Hemsworth. What most of you don't know is my past life before I became a wife to Justin Hemsworth but I am going to reveal all that to you all now," she forced a smile, one that almost immediately faded away and was replaced by a serious demeanor.
