There were two bunnies—one was for Dexter, and one was for Maisie. Dexter kept staring at it as he stroked it, thinking of the time they'd spent together. His features looked particularly chiseled in the shadows. If one took a closer look, one would see the tears in his eyes, threatening to fall at any second. Jessica came looking for Dexter after her shower. She froze right before calling his name—there were tears in his eyes, and he held the bunny Maisie had given him. It was clear he missed her.

“Fuck you, Nyx.” “Oh, hush. You were always so dramatic.” Something flickers beside me. A shape that I recognize. Small and white, fading in and out of existence like rapid pulses. “Bubbles?” I whisper. The rabbit flickers into full form for a breath, her ears flattened, fur standing on end, eyes glowing faintly gold. Then she vanishes again. Nyxara rolls her eyes. “Oh, for the love of the old gods, stay still, sister. You’re giving me a headache.”

’ She agrees and does what I ask without complaint. Jessica on the other hand does not stop bleeding and curses. Her eyes cloud over, but she does not seem to be talking to her wolf. Ember sniffs the air from my mind once again, and then she says that Jessica’s wolf is in eternal hibernation with a magical barrier around her. ‘Which means?’ ‘She can tap into some aspects of her wolf, but she can’t mindlink with her, or fully shift.’ Ember says, cold amusement in her voice. As I focus back on Jessica her cuts are healing, slowly, sluggishly. She doesn’t seem to care. Then something fires from the trees and I jump to avoid it. Another something fires, and I jump again while Jessica laughs.

He considered this with the gravity of a child assessing a reasonable argument. Then he held the hospital rabbit out toward her. "You can hold it if you want." Yessica crossed the room and sat in the chair beside the bed. She took the rabbit. It was soft and slightly lopsided, one ear slightly larger than the other. Ethan watched her hold it with complete attention. Then, apparently satisfied with her technique, he leaned back against his pillows.

She seemed to be full every time the men left. When I took water into Rebecca's room, I noticed her face glowing, and her tummy had grown bigger too. "Everly, come look! This is the bloodstone I'm growing. It'll come out in another month. After Mom sells it for a good price, we'll be living the high life!" I touched Rebecca's tummy and felt something move under the skin. I drew my hand back with a start. "Rebecca, is being a rabbit-woman really that great?" I couldn't help but ask. "Mom gave me a pouch of spices yesterday and told me to let it burn as I slept."

Thank you ” She said as she hugged the rabbit and she knelt down on the clean cut grass as she began to caress the rabbit's fur and she giggled.

The voice whispered while Robert turned to look at her but she was no where to be find again. Jessica teleported herself some few meters away from him as she quietly steal a glance at him. She whispered some words while robert fell into a deep slumber. She comes out of hiding while she help mindlink around but got no signal. She decide to lure the woman who had lodged him to his sides. She transformed into a white squirrel and raced the distance. Upon arriving at the scene, she hypnotized the woman and lured her out. The woman came out and saw the white squirrel, she went in pursuit of it and finally got to where Robert was laid.
