I heard one ask. Ms. Jimenez shook her head and revealed that she has made a list of who is going to be partners with who. “I already have chosen who’s pairing with who.” She announced and everyone groaned. As long as it’s not Julian Paredes, it’s fine with me. Ms. Jimenez started announcing the partners. Apparently, Genina is paired with Julian Paredes making her explode like a volcano that has been dormant for a million years with all the reserved lava coming out of its crater.

Jimenez’ hands grip her arms tightly, maybe trying to prolong her patience with the Detective. She continued, “Oh, and by the way, sorry about the engagement. If you’re that mad, don’t situate it on us. Spill that anger onto your ex-fiancé,” then she sat down. As if Ms. Jimenez is a dragon trying to contain its anger, her nostrils were flaring and her chest raised and dipped aggressively. Her nails were digging on her skin before she stopped and went to the desk to pick up her book and walk out of the classroom. Her heavy steps could even be heard from the hallway.

She replied with a smile. "That's huge for you, congrats." "I bought a gift for you to show you my appreciation." She said bringing out a medium-sized box from her bag. "I...wanted to get something expensive for you, so I got you this." Philip accepted it with a smile and opened it, then he brought out a pen, which had his surname CRUZ engrafted in the body of the pen. "I figured out that you love writing because of the letters you send whenever you want to inform anyone." The both of them laughed and Philip took another look at the pen. It was beautifully blue, with some engrafted designs on it.

Elizabeth's POV "Jimena, come clear the table. I'm done," I called, standing up from the dining table and hoping she had heard me. Jimena rushed out of the kitchen and bowed. "I'm sorry, Miss. Goméz. I was_" "It's Miss. Rodriguez to you now," I corrected, cutting her off. "I'm sorry, Miss Go... I mean, Miss. Rodriguez," Jimena apologized. "I'll clear the table. Do you need anything?"

The lady nodded and fined her name in the computer. "You need to sign here first ma'am before I give the keys to you." She gave the papers to her and the ball pen. Celestina grimaced and start signing the papers with her very brief signature. It's only C and M in the font of Greek style. She gave back the papers and ball pen after signing it.

*** THE YEAR 2019 "Mr. Ramos, I will hold your hand and tried to teach you how to write the first letter, okay?" Marian asked first before holding his hand. Justin cringed at his place at didn't even know what to do as Marian led the pencil into writing the first letter. Justin was stunned by that and Marian let go of his hand. My eyes moved to the word beneath it. Italic script. The letters leaning into each other with the compressed elegance of a font chosen by someone who understood that how you wrote your name was its own kind of statement. C — r — o — w — e. Five letters. The first one tall. The r and o pressed close in the italic lean. The w that had read like two letters in my sketch because in italics it nearly was. The e at the end with its curved base. Crowe. My notebook sketch was right.

But i guess it's not everyday a 'shy' person winks at you in church though, so that counts for something. His name is embossed on his note in a gorgeously precise slanting cursive (typical; pretty boy=pretty everything) : Obiatu Chideziri Precious. He starts making a sketch at the back of a note and pretends to ignore me till the recess bell goes off.
