"It's all Mr. Reyes' fault! He lied to me! He ruined Sharon's life! Sharon, if you're seeking revenge, go after him!"

The shocked look on her face at the sight of the dismembered foe caused her to smile. She watched with surprise and admiration as Rex growled like a wild animal and stormed over to the two cyborgs who lay with arrows in their backs. They were incapacitated, but not dead. He quickly corrected that fact; not stopping until they were in pieces alongside of their buddy. “That’s some strength you possess,” Jax said with a mixture of admiration and suspicion. “It’s almost superhuman.”

' Xyla's cheeks flushed like ripe apples, realizing she had been thinking too much. "Hey, can you talk?" Alexander released Xyla's waist, addressing the metal lump in front of him. High-level cyborgs all had autonomous consciousness. "Screw you, Alexander!" cursed the cyborg cursed, the words meant for Alexander from one of Master Moony's subordinates. Alexander's expression darkened upon hearing this. He wanted to ask something, but the way the cyborg spoke annoyed him. "I'll send you to the scrapyard, then." Before the words even finished, Alexander, filled with rage, lunged toward his opponent.

I stepped entirely inside his guard, grabbed the lapels of his pristine white silk suit, and drove my forehead directly into the bridge of his nose. Bone crunched. Kaelen cried out, dropping the plasma blade as blood poured down his face. I swept his legs out from under him, sending him crashing hard onto the marble. I grabbed him by the collar and began dragging his limp weight back toward the central transit hub. "Jinx! Do it!" I screamed. "I need ten seconds!" Jinx yelled back. She was entirely exposed, standing at the control pedestal on the metal platform, frantically ripping wires out of the console and splicing them together with her bare hands.

He rolled his eyes and frowned at Quinn. "You look more like a female from the back than I do," Ryker teases and Quinn rolls his eyes. "I don't think that matters to the big fella," he winked and Ryker eyed him curiously. The two friends entered the front door and were greeted by an elderly man who escorted them to a sitting area. He looked at the narrow shaft. ‎ ‎"I can fit," he said, swallowing a bite of apple. ‎ ‎"Jinx, no," I said instinctively. "He's a child." ‎ ‎"He's a rogue," Kaelen corrected gently. "And he's the best climber we have. Jinx, if you get in that shaft, you can drop down into the server room and cut the lasers. Can you do that?"
