ISABELLA’S POV The message lit up my screen just as I was about to step out of the room. Manager : "Check the news now. It’s about Jasmine. You need to see this." My stomach dropped. I quickly unlocked my phone and opened the news app. The headline slapped me across the face: "Supermodel Jasmine Mildred Opens Up About Isabella, Xavier... and Drake?" I clicked it, hands trembling. There she was, seated elegantly in a plush red chair, legs crossed, flashing that perfectly rehearsed smile. Her makeup was flawless. Her voice.. sweet. She looked like she hadn’t lost a single night of sleep while ruining lives.

When the nurse brought her medication, she'd scream in terror, "Jinx! Jinx! Stay away from me!" She refused to take her meds or eat. It was like she had trapped herself in the ten years when she called me a jinx. Doing this was her way of living through my torment. I watched her and felt a pang of sympathy for her. Then, I hated myself for it. No one sympathized with me back then. "Sharon! Sharon, I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! You're not a jinx. I am," she cried out hysterically. "No!" she said bitterly. "It's all Mr. Reyes' fault! He lied to me! He ruined Sharon's life! Sharon, if you're seeking revenge, go after him!"

Jinx stood to the side, her eyes darting between Jayce Sherwood and Lalisa, her expression filled with hatred. She sat directly next to Lalisa, blocking Jayce Sherwood’s line of sight and placing her mobile phone, which had a cute rabbit earphone case, on the tea tray. She looked at Lalisa with a threatening tone. “If you want to talk about whatever it is, just say it and leave.” Since Jayce Sherwood lost his memory several years ago, whenever Lalisa came to find him, Jinx would immediately go on high alert. Lalisa’s gaze fell on the mobile phone with a rabbit earphone case on the tea tray. She bit her lip, trying to think of a way to plant a virus in the mobile phone.

"This is your fucking fault! A bab luck came again and again because of you! We are already doing fine when you left, but now! Look at now! You came back and worst thing happened! You will never be a gift to us, Astra!" I once again gulp. We also got the attention of others so I feel ashamed. Jinx held my arms to say that he was just there, got my back but that will never calm me down. I still feel mom's raging eyes before it diverted to Jinx'. "Who the hell are you?
