I could still feel their eyes on me as we moved across the floor to the stairs. "They all have the same tattoo" Dante mind-linked me. I had failed to notice many details on our tour, focusing too much on a certain Alpha. Luckily Dante was doing his job "a Cresent Moon with a star" he continued in the link. I looked around and sure enough, I saw a lot of tattoos like Dante described, the design seemed familiar but I couldn't place it. "It was the symbol carved into the fountain." He linked again. Thank the goddess Dante had his act together.

I mused, popping a piece of bread in my mouth. “You, a tattoo? Good girl Sophia with permanent ink, I can’t picture it..” He teased me and I couldn’t help but smile. “I resent that statement.” I scoffed, throwing a hand over my heart in mock offence. Jasper’s smile widened, “What would you get?” He leaned back in his seat with his arms crossed over his chest. “The elements; air, fire, earth and water and a crescent moon with a shadow.” The image had been playing in my head for a while.

His shirt was slightly unbuttoned, revealing the family crest on his chest, a black eagle, and right next to it, an ornate 'E'. He had it tattooed there, just for me. The air froze for a few seconds. The color drained from Vivian's face. Joey ripped the phone from her grasp. His eyes narrowed at the screen before he let out a harsh, sudden laugh. "Nice Photoshop job. Which two-bit grifter taught you that trick? You have the nerve to use the Don's private estate as a background?" He leaned in close, his voice a low hiss in my ear. "Are you trying to get us all killed?"

“Bigger than I planned, but it works. You want to look around?” I shook my head, my mind already made up. “Actually… I need you for something a little more personal.” Jaden raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Oh?” I rolled up my sleeve, exposing my wrist. “I want a tattoo. Something meaningful.” He nodded, walking closer, eyes scanning me like he could read the story etched in my veins. “Go on.” I inhaled sharply. “I want my sister’s name—Luna—inked on my wrist. And… with an infinity symbol. Around it, connected. Something that… shows she’s always with me.”

He looked enticing with his furrowed brows and serious pout. What the heck, girl?! I mentally pinched myself as I tried to avoid the fact that Jordan himself was wearing nothing but a towel around his waist. I tried my best not to look, but I couldn’t help but stare at the tattoo on his back. It was a full scale dragon - I noticed that the end of its tail could be found on the base of his nape, its body running down the length of his spine then going around his right hip, its head disappearing just beside his crotch.

They certainly deserved it after the nightmares they had been through. Macario and I stood up and started from Jackson down the line. I asked them where they wanted it because it would essentially become a tattoo. They needed to be sure they were okay with the placement. Jackson and Lilli wanted it over their hearts. Dent and Pati wanted it on their inner wrists. The girls both wanted it on the left shoulder blades. Macario grabbed my hand and had me focus on the power that I could feel coming from him. I gathered it up and pushed it out towards them. Each of their sigils glowed with a brilliant white light before turning into black tattoos. It worked. It fucking worked.
