Joey doesn't seem too bothered as I still get a hug from him and a quiet hello. Joey has definitely become more confident around me over the past few days. We haven't stopped texting since I begged Nathan for his number on Thursday night. It turns out he's really funny and likes to send me memes that make me laugh until my sides ache. "Are you excited for your test tonight?" He asks me as we walk into the club with Lucas and Nathan behind us. They go to Marcus' office as me and Joey go to the subs room so we can get changed.

Then, he told Joey to enter Serenity’s private room and await further instructions. Joey did not recover from the strange turn of events until he was standing inside the private room. He had a strange feeling about this. He felt as though he was in a period drama where he was a prostitute who worked in a brothel and had no human rights. Serenity was the bully who took a fancy to him and wanted to take him away by force. And Mr. Drew would be the brothel’s madam who was trying her best to help him maintain his innocence.

I haven't heard from them in ages, mainly because I have avoided going anywhere near that beach house like it has the plague. There were too many memories there. Brandon said nothing to me all the way home but I knew he had been searching for me. My teachers say I can easily make it to the country's top university if I keep this up." Joey beamed. He felt happy with his current progress, only focusing on his studies and not worrying about anything else.
