The Killer Who Found Me

The Killer Who Found Me

I had not understood that Doyle was already inside a story of his own, and that my case had walked into the middle of it. I said: “Then I will ask you again. What do you want.” Doyle said: “I want to know if you’re careful.” I said: “What do you mean.” He said: “I mean I have read about your company. I know what the public product does. I know it flags the high-risk ones. And I have spent the last week wondering whether a man who built a machine to find the worst husbands in New York might also have built himself a way to act on what the machine finds. And if he did, I want to know if he is careful. I want to know if the men who come off the board are the men who actually earned it, or wheth

Fallon’s Reid: An Arranged Contract

Fallon’s Reid: An Arranged Contract

My brain kept circling back to it, itching to see what new headlines had popped up. Reid, of course, was the picture of self-control. He read an actual book—one of those heavy finance ones with a title that made my eyes glaze over—and barely glanced at his phone. Meanwhile, I had to physically sit on my hands at one point to keep from reaching for mine. “This is pathetic,” I muttered, flopping onto the couch beside him. He smirked but didn’t look up. “You were the one who wanted this.” “I thought it would be fun.”

Pampered by Billionaires after Being Betrayed

Pampered by Billionaires after Being Betrayed

She seemed no different from a normal person. Olivia stayed by her side. She wanted to say something but didn’t dare to, fearing her words might hurt Emily. In the end, all she could do was sigh. A news broadcast interrupted her thoughts. The anchor reported a shocking piece of news that had rocked New York: "…The Reed Group has completed its bankruptcy liquidation. Nathan Reed, the CEO of Reed Group, has been sentenced to two years in prison for economic crimes, with a two-year probation. Carol Reed has been sentenced to three years in prison for fraud. She has been hospitalized due to health issues and is currently in no immediate danger, though doctors say her recovery to full health is u

THANK U Dear FancyZ, this story is amazing. U got me hooked n addicted, without fail waiting for its update. I'm a fan of HEA. While i like how it was wrapped up, I hv to agree that the ending was abrupt. Dear FancyZ, pls have a continuation to unfold some unresolved issues n expand the plots.

Navy's Sons: Bullied by Quadruplet Stepbrothers

Navy's Sons: Bullied by Quadruplet Stepbrothers

I read faster, eyes hungrily searching for specifics, anything actionable, when I hear the sound of footsteps behind me. I freeze. Before I can react, Reed steps into view. His expression hardens as soon as his gaze drops to the book in my lap. Shit. “I-I uh—” I don’t even have the time to come up with an excuse to why I sneaked in here despite their earlier warning when he strides forward, plucks the book from my hands, and snaps it shut. He doesn’t spare me another glance, just turns and walks off. “Reed, wait—” I start, but the words die on my tongue as he disappears between the shelves.

Revenged The Mafia - Cruel Intentions Series Book Two

Revenged The Mafia - Cruel Intentions Series Book Two

I look down at my hands as I fiddle with them. “Why not? There’s the only way this is going to work”, my brother says and dad looks at everyone with confusion plastered all over his face. I frown looking at them dad asks everyone what is going on as he grabs the papers from the trash and reads the same pages Killian and Theodore read before. Dad’s face drops and he goes bright red, so red I am afraid he might have a heart attack.

Rex (Book 5)

Rex (Book 5)

"And besides, they are staying with Don and Claire. If anything, Don can separate the two." Don isn't as tall as Rex, but he's pretty significant with extra muscles because he served in the Marines and became a mercenary. If anyone can handle two adult children, then it is him. After dinner and relief, Jordyn did nothing to Ares because of that word. But throughout that time, they glared at each other like dogs and cats. It was intense, but I was able to fill myself with food. Once back in our rooms, Ares and Jordyn fought to see who would go first inside. They were pushing and shoving, and thanks to Don, he picked them up and dragged them inside simultaneously.

Sleeping with my bodyguard

Sleeping with my bodyguard

I dried my hands, jaw tight, and turned off my phone. Rio had stepped outside a few minutes ago, and I took the chance to scroll through my iPad. Emails, news, nonsense. Anything to keep my mind busy. The front door creaked open. I didn’t look up right away. “I was hoping we could—” I started, thinking it was Rio. But my words died in my throat the second I looked up. There he was. Reed. Hands tucked casually into his pockets like he had every right to be here. His red hair was slicked back, neat and perfect. That damn designer suit clung to him like always polished, sharp, calculated.

Emily and The Wolves

Emily and The Wolves

Red chuckled, “but no, not him. This is my personal initiative. - Why's that? - Cole did not let up, interrogating Black's former colleague, as if he was under interrogation. Red looked at John and, receiving a nod of agreement, told the story he told an old friend not so long ago. When the story was over, Steve sat with wide eyes and half-finished cold coffee. - Blimey! he breathed, pulling a pack of cigarettes from his jeans pocket; then he reached for a lighter, but, not finding it in place, only cursed through his teeth. Redward came to the rescue, giving Steve a light with his lighter. After taking one big puff, the man continued: - What's going on? John should have killed the girl, but

Coming Out of the Deep

Coming Out of the Deep

Third-party POV Reed froze at the sight of Riley. He had no idea it was him when he responded; he had simply seen someone in need and stopped to help them. But, as surprised as he was that it was Riley, whom he disliked and knew would never help him if he were stranded, Reed reached down and extended his hand. He was not a murderer. Riley took the hand, and as soon as Riley got on board, he collapsed, prompting Reed to place his hand on Riley's shoulder, at which point something clicked in Reed.

Beyond A Substitute

Beyond A Substitute

But secure. A tall man waited by the steel door, hands in his coat pockets. Reed. Ex-military. Ex-private intelligence. Now, her a problem solver. He gave a curt nod as she stepped out of the vehicle. “He’s inside,” he said. “Bit nervous. But curious.” Beth didn’t respond. She walked past him, heels clicking against the cracked concrete, and entered the building. The interior smelled of metal, sawdust, and faint oil. It was bare save for a few chairs and a long metal table.

I truly enjoyed this novel, the characters were realistic and genuine. The way you incorporated the characters story and the way you used the dialogue with the growth of each character through the recovery ...️‍🩹 was amazing. Would like to read more from you author!

Enjoying the book so far. I’m still new to the book. I feel that they both got what they needed in the beginning. He was hurting and found a safe place in Katherine. She lost herself in him. I can’t wait to see what happens next
