Akira's POV Fake smiles mold my face while I look for a way for him to fall within my claws. My plans are straight, taking him down wouldn't be a problem, because everything will happen all of a sudden. I know he won't be prepared for the next turn. This is a mission I must do, to make the Alpha proud and to restore my name among my pack mates. I am seen as a thief and murderer. I am being despised and I want all that to change just with this mission. If I don't plan my things right, it will be a great problem and I may forever regret it.

It made my hair stand on end and my skin itch as it wrapped itself around me. "Ah, Erik, I've been expecting you. I'm sure you could use some rest after that horrible fall." He said his voice was whimsical and held such happiness as he spoke. He knew so much, but it didn't surprise anyone. His voice caught me off guard as I expected him to sound as dark and evil as his energy. "Of course, but first," Erik said before turning to the others. "These are some of my pack members, you have already met Drake, but this is Lucas, my top warrior. Tom and his mate Greta are my mate's guardians, and this here is my mate Athena. The one who seeks your help." Malcolm bowed his head in respect.

"Drink, dance, and party all night, Alarick. Soon, you'll be begging me to give you back your little Luna. I scuff as I see Skylar and his mate sitting at a table nearby. So they are friends. I should have known. No wonder he wasn't hesitant to help their pack the last time I tried to attack them. "We'll just have to see who is more resilient, little Ricky. You... Or me?" Akira paused and sipped her coffee. " He actually did that?" Cristal asked being surprised. " Yes he did.... and he told them that I'm not a murderer and I'm innocent. He even warned them not to dream of bothering me again and said I don't have to do any house chores. He..... he also... apo... apologize to me for all that he had done to me." Akira said and lowered her head. "HE DID WHAT?" Cristal shouted in full surprised gaining people's attention. The Rayner Cristal is familiar with is not that kind of person Akira is talking about which is why she was shocked.

Luna placed the tuna sandwich in front of me before they started pigging out with the pasta and chips. “Oh,” Luna cried, making us all look at her. “Roux, this is Akira. I know you don’t like people but Aki is part of our circle so we decided to bring him here. Aki, this is Roux.” My gaze fell on Akira. I assumed that Akira is a girl. He’s still watching me with those pair of piercing eyes like he’s trying to decode me. He put down his coke and offer me his hand which I just stared at. Luna and Lucas exchanged awkward glances. Finally, Lucas shook his hand for me. Akira didn’t say anything.

"Don't play dumb, Kaida. I have proof, unlike last time . And I'm going to expose you to the pack." I laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. "Proof? Ha! You have nothing, Akira. And even if you did, no one would believe you. You're just a fake mate to Kael, a pawn in his game." Akira's eyes went wide in shock but she quickly regained her composure. "How dare you! I am not a fake mate!"

“But understand this, daughter—when this is over, our war resumes.” Kaidën spat blood, smirking grimly. “Fine. But let’s make sure we live long enough to take each other down.” The creature reared back, all of its eyes glowing with a blinding, molten light. The chamber shook, dust cascading from the ceiling. And for the first time, Akira stood side by side with both the man she hated most and the one she couldn’t stop needing—ready to face a nightmare older than them all.
