Frank's head and body still bore the wounds inflicted on them, the ragged edges dark with dried blood, and his eyes glared with aggression toward Gordon, burning with a fury that death hadn't cooled.
"Go on and tell him, boy," Frank sneered, his voice a low rasp that seemed to scrape against the air itself. "Tell him you see ghosts. You know what they do to people that can see ghosts - they take them down and lock them up in Arkham. So go on. Go on and tell him."
Jack had no intention of doing so. He knew exactly what he needed to say, the words already forming a wall in his mind.
