Crossing The Line
“Sir, what kind of drink?”
“No need,” I said, taking an empty glass and pouring the drink myself.
“Colleague… it isn't right to drink with a customer while on duty. Aren't you scared of getting fired?” the bartender said timidly.
“If you say one more word, you'll be the one getting fired,” he said, and the guydistanced himself.
“You’re really something else, Daniel. Firstly, you talked back at a customer. Secondly, you treated your colleague rudely, even threatening him. Do you want to get fired?” Daniel always finds a way to amuse me. I've even forgotten about everything that happened an hour ago.
