A flicker of guilt flashed through Jared's eyes, but he immediately blustered to cover it up. "It's just a joke between friends! Must you make such a big deal out of it? I swear, you're getting more and more unreasonable every day!" With that, he haphazardly stuffed the gift boxes back into his suitcase, picked it up, and stormed off to the guest room. All that was left was that cheap pair of pearl earrings lying alone on the floor.

"But since we're on the topic of roles, you do know your time will come too, right? Just like I and Osiris failed. So will you, and if you don’t die on the job like Osiris, you'll end up…. Just. Like. Me!” They laughed. Loud and obnoxious, one was a grating sound in my ears. The other? Sounded forced. "You’re something else. Seriously. I almost don’t wanna break your face." Joker drawled, wiping a false tear from his eye. "Almost?" I smirked. That one pissed him off, cause he slapped me. Hard across the face. My head snapped sideways, not really… just for dramatic flair. I let it hang, motionless. "Hey. Don’t kill him yet." Spear Guy said.

Joker might help. "Alright. Go back and wait. I'll inform you if there's any news." "Thank you." Nina expressed her gratitude. Despite Mr. Joker's role and allegiance, she was currently relying on his assistance. Mr. Joker was taken aback. In his time here, he had never received a genuine thank you. Most people cursed him daily. But Nina’s gratitude seemed sincere. Just then, a respectful male voice interrupted, "Mr. Joker. A new batch of slaves has just arrived. Do you want to select from them now?"

"I'm just concerned, you're the only friend I have" He pulled a sober face and then burst into laughter. "You're weird you know that right? You're cringing me out with those eyes" he said and then shook his head. "Joker" I commented, kicking my feet at the edge of the desk. "Believer" he snapped back and I shook my head, laughing with him too but I never meant that. He kept my hope high and he's so unreadable. I was really mad but then I only exhaled softly and gnashed my teeth.

"Not only do I want to poison you, I also want your legs to break at the hips, and your flesh to fester and ooze pus. I want you to be a cripple, bedridden for the rest of your life." Jackie's expression changed dramatically upon hearing that. "What kind of nonsense are you saying…" He was about to yell at me when suddenly, a crisp snap was heard. His legs bent backward at an extremely bizarre angle. "AAH!!!" He let out an extremely tragic scream and crashed heavily to the floor.

I couldn't care if his head cracked. “That hurt,” he whined as he robbed the spot, but I felt satisfied at my revenge. “You psycho Joker!” I said ready to hit him again when he grabbed my wrist. “Joker is a psycho already so your sentence is redundant. It's just like saying ‘you black charcoal'” he said and continued laughing. “What are you so insufferable?” I couldn't help but ask, “I feel like pulling my hair out just talking to you. Who knew you had this side of you too?”

He revels in it, his laughter echoin' through the room, fillin' the space with a twisted sense of joy. “Ya an asshole,” I mutter, unsure of what else to say, feelin' the weight of the situation pressin' down on me. “Oh, I’m hurt!” Joker exclaims, his hand flyin' up to his heart in mock agony. “Ouch,” he adds with an exaggerated pout, clearly enjoyin' every second of this. I roll my eyes at his theatrics. “I might need to tell my daughter ya bad for 'er,” he laughs.

“Didn’t know you were the old lady kind, Hamill.” “Let her go.” Jax’s husky voice was even and measured, maybe too much so. “Right the fuck now.” “And if I don’t?” “You really want to find out?” “That sounds like a threat.” Joker reached into his back pocket, and now silver glinted in his hand. “I feel the need to protect myself, all of a sudden.”

They look crazed and drugged as they remove helmets. "Alpha Sebastian your bigger in person",A man speaks up looking me over. "Who are you?",,I growl out. "I'm president of the Joker Wolf club. Name is Joker",I hold in my laugh. "Seriously?",he growls. "I'm dead serious and the little fucker behind you didn't take me seriously so I killed his pup",Howl raced forward and I had issues controlling him. "You killed an innocent pup ,because?",he sighed dramatically as I felt Howl pacing right at the surface he wanted out to kill. We never make innocent pups suffer for the mistakes of adults.

Pres spat at his second son who sent him an eerie smile with blood running down his chin and mouth. "Oh, I disagree dear father. I think its fucking hilarious." Joker paused and looked around at each of us. "What isn't funny is the way you and your VP treated your own flesh and blood. You treated them like slaves. Ordering them and commanding them. Never having a conversation with them. Never making sure that they were alright. Most of the time you didn't even know if they had eaten. Neglect isn't funny." Joker spat back as he stepped towards his father.
